One of the changes this year has brought me was the solo traveling, I once thought it was scary but I found out it was needed because we needed to see what we don't usually enjoy seeing like the new and distant places.
I travel back and forth to this city these past months, it was 32 kilometers away, but this week has been unique, I get to explore the city streets late at night that even if that was a one time experience it was good to know late night stroll are way better than walking under the hotness of the day. If only I took photos though.
At night the streets are more silent with only a few motorcycles and around.
Ormoc City is a progressive city located north of our island province of Leyte that even at night it host's it's spectacular view of the city's plaza with a colorful display of the water fountain on the old City Hall. The city is divided with lots of streets on the city's in its main district and I got the chance of strolling the empty city street at night and took dinner somewhere at the mainstreet, but it was not what I intend on doing that time but I guess it wasn't a bad experience after all because I needed a break mentally or just a good view that we don't have in our city.
32 kilometers is a long ride and it usually was a 1 hour ride seeing some scenic landscapes on the bus windows with both the mountains and the sea on the opposite sides. Theirs was the more developed mountain views on Ormoc and ours was the city of many rivers and hills.
I wanted to see more of what this island has to offer in the years to come and see the progress that wasn't there before.
