Dear Friends,
We went to Gaisano mall (Butuan) yesterday to look for appliances, but my brother was buying a solar again for their new house. They don’t have electricity yet. According to them, they’re waiting for one month after the seminar to have their electricity be attached to their new house. Solar energy is a great idea as an electric replacement. When the rain comes, they visited home to charge their old solar. My brother was very fascinated to buy another set to the fact that they don’t have the monthly bill to pay for consuming lights. The mall staff was giving a demo on how to use the solar they picked. They also tried to light it up while being charged in an electric. While they were busy at their solar, my baby was also picking another box as she was very curious.
The mall has many home decorations to choose also. They have many artificial flowers, ceramic statues, ceramic vases, flower pots, realistic flowers in pots, picture frames, marbles, pebbles, glass vases and more. Their items are cheaper than the other malls. Their items are quality looking even with reasonable prices. Almost all of our home decors are from this mall.
They also have brand new bikes, helmet and music accessories. The prices of the bikes ranges from 170$ until 350$. Only a few people can afford their prices here in the Philippines. Kid’s bikes has price range of 50$ up to 200$.
At the basement, they sell brandnew cellphones and other digital accessories. I went here because I bought a USB chord for my iPad. I paid 5$ for the chord. It’s not the original cord of an Apple, but I can still use it while my original apple charger is gone . The original cord of an Apple costs 25$. Well, I can’t afford it now that I’m jobless. Their displayed phone by the way are mostly android. They also have cute lampshades.
They have many displayed heaters with good prices , but are durable looking. We always need a heater at home because we love coffee in the morning and during rainy season. I also need it sanitize my baby’s feeding bottles.
The mall offers a set of appliances with price ranges from 77$ to 300$. There was a bundle 2 with set of coffee maker, rice cooker and iron for 100$; the bundle 3 has set of juicer blender, electric mixer, electric fan and heater for 80$; the bundle 4 has set of oven, air fryer, rice cooker, blender and pressure cooker for 100$; and the bundle 5 has set of air fryer, heater, coffee maker, iron, oven and electric fan for 300$. What we bought was the bundle 1 with a lowest price. It is a set of rice cooker, blender and kettle for 76$. It was a good buy because we know that these appliances will last for many years.
My nephew had stopped when he saw the picture of the country’s most popular and best actor Coco Martin. He loves this actor so much who is currently the main cast of the nation’s famous tv series, Batang Quiapo. He portrays a role of Tanggol, a famous character of today’s Philippine series. My nephew was very happy that he found Coco as the brand’s ambassador.
These are their other piles of appliances with different prices to choose from. Anyone can get the appliances they want without money as they also accepts home credit with zero percent interest. We tried to get a digital fridge as home credit before. They just need an electric bill and valid I’D. That fridge costs 700$ home credit but only 400$ if cash.
This is the area where all of the things for kitchen can be seen. They have sets of ceramic plates. Some of the ceramic plate sets costs 25$ in a lowest price. The other kitchen stuff we can put in our cart are plastic/ glasses of kitchen wares, carpets and rags, kitchen towels, water bottles, pots and woks, water containers, brooms, different types of brushes, organizers, paper towels, pails, garbage bins, trash cans, hangers and clips, table clothes and etc.
I want to buy their glass jars are it is a pretty display with juice during a party. It costs 25$ or more. The small glass jars cost only 17$. I also wish to buy the white set or ceramic plates. Just like the glass jars, it is very attractive as a party table display where the cupcakes and fudges are put in.
My baby liked the bunnies as money saver. There are also lions with its same size. I liked to buy it so I could save my money such as coins in there. Because they’re big, maybe it takes many years to finally open my coins being put there. Sadly, I ran out of money so I was not able to buy it. My baby was sad but I promised her to buy it one day. Below of the bunnies are the organizing boxes we can buy now and pay later. Like the appliances, they accept a home credit for these. These are super strong boxes because we have these at home. They last for many years. Their prices ranges from 18$ up to 150$ depending on their sizes.
Since my brother was moving to their new house, they wanted to buy an ice bucket because they don’t have a fridge. They should put an ice inside the ice bucket first before the fish. We know this is temporary. One day, they can buy even a small fridge. Yet, ice bucket can still be used for picnics.
They also looked for water jugs. Not just water, they can put a juice on it since their kids like juices so much. There are many pretty jugs displayed, but what we looked for were the jugs with great quality but with a good price. There were jumbo jugs, but my sister-in-law did not like the style.
This pretty white jug was the one we bought. My niece and nephew liked its color, as well as my brother. I very much like it because white is very flexible in every background color. It’s also neat looking. Surprisingly, it only costs 2.70$. Well, this is what we’re looking for-pretty with great quality but the price is good. It’s a good
buy though. How about you? What did you do today?
