November 18th, 2023Sorry folks, this week's raffle is a little late, but better late than never. Our new house is being built, so things are a little hectic at the moment, but no need to worry, ASEAN Hive will go on despite some delays here and there. The most notable thing this week is that our HP went through the roof with a massive delegation from @xuanphuc98, 4,387 to be exact. He landed himself as ASEAN Hiver Of The Week thanks to this massive boost to the community.
That's not all though, @rosmadirazali bumped his delegation up to an even 850 HP, very generous. You ASEAN Hivers never cease to amaze me, and the delegators are truly a driving force behind our community. I realize your HP could be used for much greater rewards if you all used it for upvoting, but I think we are on the way to providing very substantial rewards for delegators with the growth of our HBD Savings account.
The new delegation this week from our Vietnamese brother was so big that it stole some beneficiary points away from the PLATINUM and GOLD VIPs, and if things keep trending this way, the GOLDs may become more powerful than our DIAMOND VIPs Dave and GoodDream. I really enjoy putting this raffle together each week and giving all the rewards away, it's just one of the many ways I try and reward our delegators.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 153,338, and total delegated HP is 140,716 HP (104,985 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
