Beef Loaf Balls in Creamy Sauce...

Have a blissful day to all!!
Hope everyone's fine, happy and healthy…

Today, I had the enthusiasm to create a dish that my family will love. It is my daily task at home to serve a tasty meal that would make my family happy. No matter how simple it is, for as long as they appreciate the food and are happy with the taste, it makes me happy too.

I didn't have any meat and any veggies except for carrot. It’s the only thing I could use including the other common ingredients that are available at home. But we still have some canned goods in our small sari-sari store, so decided to cook beef loaf. Usually, we just fry the beef loaf coated with eggs. But this time I want to cook it differently.

From a simple can of beef loaf to somewhat a little fancy dish. I hope you will like how I did it.

Before that, allow me to share some chores that I did this morning before cooking for lunch. Every morning, the moment we woke up and arise from bed, the first thing we do is have our daily blood pressure monitoring. Then, after that we'll have our breakfast. After taking our breakfast, we'll separately do some different tasks at home.

My daughter starts her work as a homebased English teacher. My husband is in charge of the house chores outside and the store. As for me, I clean inside the house and cook. It was our schedule of replacing our curtains today, so I tidied up the window first before replacing other curtains. But since it's almost time for me to cook, my husband helped me in doing so..

There's this cute loving fur baby who wants attention... After kissing me, he just went down and behaved while we were busy working at home.
Now, let’s get back to the recipe!

Beef Loaf Balls in Creamy Sauce...

INGREDIENTS:

-Holiday Beef Loaf
-Carrot
-Onion
-Garlic
-Spring Onion
-Angel Evaporated Milk
-Angel Creamer
-All Purpose Flour
-Cornstarch
-Crispy Fry
-Magic Sarap Seasoning
-Eggs
-Eden Cheese
-Canola Oil
-Ground Black Pepper
-Baking Powder

PREPARATION:

Wash and peel the carrot. Peel and wash onion, and wash the spring onions too. Crush and peel the garlic.

After peeling and washing these ingredients, let's proceed to cutting or slicing. For the carrot, I grated it then sliced the onion into tiny pieces, same with the garlic.

Then cut the spring onions into thin small pieces and set them all aside.

Next thing to do is grate the cheese and set aside.

Open the can of beef loaf...then remove it from the can and transfer it to a clean bowl and then mash the beef loaf.

Now let's do the mixing. Mix 2 1/2 tbsp flour, 1tbsp cornstarch, 1 tbsp crispy fry, and 1tsp of baking powder. Then mix the grated carrot to the mashed beef loaf, mix also 2 beaten eggs and then add the powdered mixture.

Now for the sauce, open the evaporated milk and creamer and set them aside. We’re now ready to cook!

COOKING TIME:

Heat some canola oil in the cooker and then fry the beef loaf balls (though it's not perfectly round because I just scoop it with spoon and put directly to the pan or cooker).

After frying, put them in a plate with kitchen towel to absorb the cooking oil.

Let's do the creamy sauce now...

Heat a small amount of canola oil and then sautee some finely chopped onions and garlic. (My apology for not having a picture of these spices this time because I got a phone call on that time.)

After sautéing onions and garlic, I added up the evaporated milk and the creamer and then stir constantly.

Add a little slurry (just 1/2 tbsp of cornstarch with a small amount of water).

Sprinkle a small amount of ground black pepper and small amount of magic sarap seasoning. Just small amount because we still need to add some grated cheese.

Continue stirring until the sauce thickens then add the cheese. Stir and mix and then put in the fried beef loaf balls.

Carefully stir to absorb the sauce and then garnish some spring onions.

And this is it… my own version of creamy beef loaf balls! Let’s get it ready to be served on the table for family's lunch by transferring them to another container or plate.

My family was really happy by just seeing the dish and much happier when they tasted and ate it.

I hope you like this simple recipe too. Thank you so much for stopping by and for reading my post. God bless us all…
