Beet planting 🌱

Greetings fellow gardeners and farmers! 😊

I am pleased to speak to you for this community to present a little work that I did these days regarding planting, I really have to confess that planting is not my forte, the fact of taking care of plants was a challenge for me because, generally, I was not at home so much time so I could not dedicate the time it deserves to a plant, also, at my parents' house, where I grew up there was no patio, and that added another factor for not having this ability to plant, however, my mother liked to grow some flower plants in pots and I could see how she , who stayed longer at home took care of them and watered them regularly.

After I got married, my husband had already started to undertake this trade for a while, so I was able to see more closely what it is like to care for some plants, such as tomatoes, bananas, paprika and eggplant. Currently our circumstances have changed, however, my husband's experience in the field of agriculture opened the way for us to work, among other things, in a small orchard that we have at work. This time I had to plant some beetroot, or as it is known in my country, beets.

As you can see in the image below, this vegetable can be sown throughout the year, and that is excellent since this food is very nutritious, it can be eaten in salads and even in juices. πŸ₯—πŸΉπŸ˜ƒ

In order to plant anything, it is essential to prepare the ground or land where we will place our children 🌱 or seeds. In this case, the soil was very moist and it was not difficult to remove the soil, I made some protruding channels to organize the location of the plants.

Then I made some small grooves with the help of a teaspoon, it can also be done with a stick and something else, you can also use your fingers, but since I didn't want to ruin my manicure 🀭 I used an instrument. πŸ₯„

Then place the children over the holes and then collect the earth around them, it is quite easy and fast. I planted around 25 seedlings. 🌱🌱🌱😊

Then I carefully watered the plants so they don't get hurt and quickly adopt their new land. I already hope that our beetroots or beets will grow soon. πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ Currently here in the south of Brazil we are in the coldest season of the year, winter, however it has not been as cold as previous times, it is the first time I experience winter, so I speak from what I have been told πŸ˜ƒ so I hope that these sudden weather do not negatively affect our plants, because we also have several types of lettuce, or as they call it here, alface we also have tomatoes, onion, couve and broccoli li.

How do you think I did it in my first sowing of beterraba? I hope you are successful friends πŸ˜ŠπŸ™ do you have any experience growing this tuber? Feel free to let me know and I will gladly write down your suggestions . πŸ˜ƒ
