Mane is one of the generals in Shirano and a man with grand ambitions. Nicknamed the “Red Lion”, He swings his twin swords fiercely to create wind currents and is a force to be reckoned with. He fiercely opposes Krizator’s succession to the throne and has occasionally tried to downplay the former’s achievements. He believes that the next emperor should be strong and wield absolute authority and he doesn’t believe that Krizator has those qualities. As such, he goes out of his way to antagonize or sabotage him on multiple occasions either subtly, or otherwise. With his high position in the country’s empire comes a haughty attitude that looks down on everyone else lower than him. After Krizator and Eska’s escape from the empire, he has secretly sent assassins after them in the hopes of getting rid of them for good. He will stop at nothing to realize his grand ideals of a stronger empire that would one day rule the world.
