Tampoco es ningún secreto que muchos esperaban con ansias el Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. En este blog quiero dar mi impresión y mi opinión acerca de este juego.
The first thing I would like to mention is that this game had 3 million sales, just on its release day. Making it the most successful Dragon Ball game by far. To give you an idea, the second place is Dragon Ball FighterZ. Which sold 2 million, but IN ONE WEEK. Basically, Sparking Zero is a wild ride in sales.
Lo primero que quisiera mencionar es que este juego obtuvo 3 millones de ventas, tan solo en su dia de estreno. Convirtiéndolo en el juego de Dragon Ball con mayor éxito, con diferencia. Para que se den una idea, el segundo puesto es de Dragon Ball FighterZ. Que vendió 2 millones, pero EN UNA SEMANA. Básicamente, el Sparking Zero es una salvajada en ventas.
If I had to define this game in short, I would say that it is like Budokai Tenkaichi 3, but improved. That is, with better graphics, more mechanics and more playable characters. Obviously, it is not my intention to make a comparison. Since there are 17 years of difference between both games. But I can say with complete certainty that Sparking Zero is a more than worthy successor to Budokai Tenkaichi 3.

Obviamente, no es mi intención hacer una comparación. Ya que hay 17 años de diferencia entre ambos juegos. As for the story mode, I'll be honest, it didn't interest me too much 😅. Personally, I'm that kind of gamer who simply wants to play with friends and choose their favorite characters. But I have to admit that I liked that the story mode can distance itself from the anime. For example, Goku can become Super Saiyan from his first fight with Vegeta. Instead of doing in his battle against Freezer. It's something that can attract several players who want to see something different.
En cuanto al modo historia, voy a ser honesto, no me interesó demasiado 😅. En lo personal, soy ese tipo de jugador que simplemente quiere jugar con sus amigos y elegir a sus personajes favoritos. Pero tengo que reconocer que me gustó que el modo historia pueda distanciarse del anime. Por ejemplo, Goku puede convertirse en Super Saiyan desde su primera pelea con Vegeta. En lugar de hacer en su batalla contra Freezer. Es algo que puede atraer varios jugadores que quieren ver algo distinto.
The online mode has a very big problem. It's impossible to play if you don't use a top character. If you try to go with Master Roshi in competitive, it is an absolute sentence of defeat. Unfortunately, only a few characters are suitable for competitive use. In short, it's not very calibrated in this aspect. I don't know if they're going to fix it in the future, but it's impossible like this. I don't care, because I don't play online. But it must be very annoying for those who do, to log in and see the same 10 characters.
El modo online tiene un problema muy grande. Es imposible jugar si no usas un personaje top. Si intentas ir con el Maestro Roshi al competitivo, es una sentencia de derrota absoluta. Por desgracia, solo unos pocos personajes son aptos para usarlos en competitivo. En resumen, no está muy calibrado en este aspecto. No sé si lo vayan a solucionar en un futuro, pero es imposible así. A mí no me interesa, porque no juego online. Pero debe ser muy molesto para el que si, entrar y ver los mismos 10 personajes.
In conclusion, it is a game that is totally worth buying. Although I have to say that it's better to play it on PS5, than on computer. Unless you have a joystick.
