Warm greetings to all those nerf video game lovers, before I start with my new gamer review, I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to all those readers who visited, read and left their love in my previous content, I am deeply grateful for your support.
Now if my crazy friends for video games, today I bring you another retro review of one of the most colorful classics of the Nintendo NES at its best, the title of which I'll be talking today, is about Bomberman II.
Bomberman II is the second installment of an incredible saga that has made life in different consoles throughout its history. This good title would make its debut in the world of video games on June 28 of 1991, it was distributed and developed by the renowned company at that time HUDSON SOFT, to be later released for the Nintendo NES console.
Unlike the first installment, Bomberman II does have a story, actually a fairly simple story, which does not go beyond making pay and defeating the villain character of the game. Talking a little about this story, it is that "White Bomberman" is tricked by "Black Bomberman", which causes White Bomberman to be put in jail unfairly and this is where the adventure begins, he must try to escape from his cell, capture Black Bomberman and bring him to justice so that he can be freed from all guilt.
Bomberman II maintains the same essence of its previous installment, planting bombs to destroy enemies and blocks that block the way, there are also the famous "power ups", but unlike the first installment, in this one they have added other new power ups that make the game a little more dynamic. In the same way the controls remain exactly the same, the same single button to plant the bombs and the directional buttons that can never be missing. As for the gameplay executed through the controls, I can say that it feels a great improvement, the mobility of the character is much more optimal, the execution on the controller is more precise and faster, the reaction when pressing the buttons is quite good.
For its part the levels also maintains the same plot as in the first installment, although I should mention that these were improved, it is true that everything is to throw and throw more bombs, but something that I liked a lot, was the fact that the levels made it much smaller, that is to say that everything is seen on the screen.
Graphically the game maintains its unique style, but with a high improvement, the main characters and enemies are very well designed, they are cartoonish and easy to visualize. The color palette in the levels is much more prominent, you can see how these colors give much more life to the game, they are much more colorful and detailed, the truth is not bad.
For its part, the soundtrack keeps quite intuitive melodies which start to become somewhat catchy after several hours of play. The sound effects of this good title end up being simple, to tell the truth they are quite simple, but quite effective when it comes to appreciate some action in the game.
Bomberman II despite having many similarities with its predecessor, is a retro game quite playable to pass the time, I can not say it has aged well over time, but that does not take away the great alternative that was to spend good times playing with friends cooperatively or in battle mode. Personally I can say that it is one of the best Nintendo NES titles I could have played in my life.
And here is my content for today my fellow gamers! I hope with all my heart that you liked it, don't forget to leave your love in the comments, you can tell me what you like, all criticism is welcome, and now yes! Without more to add your good friend DanGab says goodbye.
