Hello guys, hope all of you are doing good. This episode is more of an early game one where I had visited a Windmill Village where a bunch of ladies danced in circles and it kinda looks like those beautiful Indian ladies in the long sarees with their unique dance steps. Though they get very aggressive when provoked by disrupting their dance. They laugh too, a lot when they you get a little close and see their happiness. No so much when you swing your sword at them.
There was a boss that I had to beat to get this grace. This was in the episode before this. I got on the game and spawned on the windmill village.
I flocked around the area for a while, farming bones and runes alike as the area is luscious and rich with them. Then I arrived at a bridge where this dude was stargazing. I initially thought that that was an enemy and creeped up to him. Then I swung the halberd but it was then I saw that I could have a chat with the guy and de dematerialised as soon as he was hit… I lost a part of the story just like that🥲. Am not sure if he does play a role in the story.
Saddened, I returned to farming and wanted to level up as soon as possible. Met a band of enemies on an organised march. A great opportunity for you know what.
These giants used to be good sources as they gave over 1k rune but now they seem insignificant and not worthwhile, have to find more difficult enemies.
The area was covered and so I marched ahead, this was the bridge to Mt. Gelmir. The place where enemies in a carriage is present, their special attack is a real annoyer.
Saw a little battle between the soldiers and the chariot one’s and decided to nope outta there. There was a grave nearby and decided to upgrade my faith level. Now I was a level 70.
I then went to the ruins close by named Writheblood. I cleared the area and didn’t suffer once as pretty much all of them were one shot.
Of course, a dungeon boss. It was the first enemy that I saw that used bleed weapon and art. It was a good experience considering that I also had the bleed art on my blade.
After his show I felt like I should show and deliver him mine. It did 754 damage, a pretty hefty damage on this guy. Almost took a quarter of his health. Basically, I was overpowered for him.
I went back to Mt. Gelmir just because I felt that something was amiss. That I didn’t go further enough. I went back just for good measure and reached the end of the road, a cliff. Above? A bridge that I wouldn’t be able to access even with the horse’s double jump ability.
So, in the end, I didn’t know how to go up and returned back the the divine area of the Erdtree, near Leyndall Capital. On the way back I noticed how even giants were hung upside down, this proved the resident’s prowess over attacking the threats nearby.
Then, I went over to try and look new entryway for to the capital but in the opposite area. I crossed the forest and saw a squad of skeletons marching about. I slashed one and went the other way to get another one and that’s when this arrow came toward me. It didn’t hit me though, it hit the skeleton behind me and I went the other way.
I came close to the guard that had his arrow. I went close to him by sticking to the sidelines and behind covers until I reached him and under him. Ended his career there…
Through this I arrived at the place of the Draconic Tree Sentinel. Talk about taking a wrong at life. I didn’t know yet that this was a difficult enemy as told by many others. I treated it like the other tree sentinels and used the same hit n’ run technique.
Slowly but surely, I damaged him and kept my distance. I didn’t get much damage myself. As told on the title, I got this tree sentinel in my first try and on stream. My friends were not watching then as they themselves were busy with stuff. This fight started from 58:55 to 1:01:20 meaning it lasted for 2 minutes and 25 seconds.
Then I got to upgrade twice from this sentinel, 50k runes! I went to the grace that formed ahead and upgraded endurance and faith.
