Another Goldback post!
In addition to the previous Utah Goldback post I wrote (see link below this post), I would like to share with you one I really love and picked first, namely: 1 Goldback Wyoming. As I mentioned in the previous post, I was only going to buy these small bills of Goldbacks because it feels a bit weird to me buying the bigger notes as I'm not going to be able to use them anyway. I much prefer spending those funds on silver coins or rounds if I have a choice.
But that doesn't mean that I'm not in awe with the shiny notes I received thanks to @summertooth's group buy initiative. It was the Wyoming one that I picked first when I was looking on which ones I'd love to have. I'll show the front again as there's so much going on in this image:
Lots of animals and nature I'd say, now I'll be honest and say that I would not be able to keep apart US states by looking at certain pictures or certain historical parts mentioned because I never really learned much about it here, BUT looking at the Wyoming Goldback note I'd say there's a lot of history there with old tribes maybe looking at the girl in the picture?
I had to look up "reverentia" and found this:
Is that something matching Wyoming in general or is that more bound to historical facts maybe? I don't expect anyone to give me a history lesson here but I'm just genuinely curious if anyone knows and shares.
The 1/1000 golden back
Of course I had to take a picture of the golden back as well because I just received my new camera when this was delivered and I was extremely happy to see how non-reflective this picture of the shiny part would turn out. I guess that was a win, wouldn't you agree?
Again, I'm not seeing myself buying into the bigger bills of the Goldbacks as I think that with my tiny precious metals collection, I'm better of spreading the funds in silver than these bills, but I think I will continue buying the 1 Goldback notes that come available for sure. They aren't a huge investment and I also just like to buy some nice things just because I can, lol.
