A few more coins from the SilverGoldBull order, a King Arthur 1oz Silver Round - from the Royal Mint's Myths and Legends, Knights of the Round Table series - and a pair of Maid Marians, from the Robin Hood stories.
King Arthur 1oz Silver Round
The King Arthur 2023 1oz 999 Fine Silver Round is inspired by the Legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, from Camelot. I remember the stories with Merlin, the Knights, the Round conference Table, Queen Guinevere, and the magical Excalibur sword that was stuck in the stone. Also known as Arthur Pendragon, it is unknown if he was an actual historical figure, or just created from stories - the first mentions date back to medieval Welsh tales from the 9th and 10th centuries (Source).
King Side:
The King Arthur side features King Arthur facing forward, looking to the right, wielding the sword Excalibur on then left side.
In the background over his shoulder on the right is the mythical Camelot castle, on the left are clouds. Along the outside curve is the text "KING ARTHUR 1oz FINE SILVER 999 2023".
Queen Side:
On the Queen's side, the Queen's head is in the center, facing to the right, adorned with her crown. Along the outside curve of this side is the text "QUEEN ELIZABETH II - D - G - REG - F - D - 2 POUNDS". After her name are her title initials in Latin - Dei Gratia Regina Fidei Defensor, which translates to 'By the Grace of God, Queen, Defender of the Faith'.
Unfortunately they didn't have King Arthur's Lady Guinevere coins in stock, so I nabbed a pair of Maid Marians from the Robin Hood legendary series.
They're both from the Royal Mint's Myths and Legends Collection, have the same Queen sides, and they share a similar artwork style. Fine silver additions to the stack.
