One of the things I like to do every time I go on Youtube, is to watch videos about programs from times gone by, songs that seem to get better with the passing of time, and some sporting events that marked an era. In each experience, everything seems to come alive once again, reviving feelings and emotions that at some point marked a very special space in my life. One of those is what is related to my childhood, a stage that I remember with a lot of nostalgia.
It is still easy for me to remember how every afternoon at my grandmother's house I would sit and watch television. That was the best thing for a child who was beginning to dream with his favorite heroes, characters that were also protagonists of my games, and that today I miss as the child I once was. That's why I want to share some intros of my favorite cartoons, those that every time I watch on Youtube are like a glimpse of my childhood.
Mazinger Z.
My first cartoon. My first toy. Being just a child I already began to feel admiration for this robot that fought multiple battles with those standard bearers of evil. I even remember the impression when in an episode Mazinger Z could fly for the first time, which for a child is quite amazing. The only toy I never got to share with anyone else, as it was something very special to me.
Thundercats.
Lion-O and the cosmic felines were another comic book that just by the intro alone stands out in an exemplary way. With his sword of omens, our main character always came to the rescue in a reckless and courageous way, facing his archenemy Mumm-Ra. My first childhood trauma happened precisely with the Thundercats, once they had to face a very dangerous group called "The Lunatacs". Why do I say this? Because I admit that those enemies looked very strong for Lion-O and his companions, so those chapters were full of tension and emotion until the Thundercats finally came out victorious.
He-Man.
Who doesn't want to be the strongest man in the universe? Well, He-Man was, and even more so when he raised his sword and said, "I already have the power." Unlike the previous one, He-Man never seemed to be under threat, as he was obviously the strongest man that could exist. I remember as a kid, my mom bought me the complete collection of all the characters with Grayskull Castle, which today would be a true relic if I hadn't lost them during my teenage years.
Knights of the Zodiac.
For me, the best intro that can exist. You feel like a knight right from the start, and with your armor you are ready to fight against anyone who threatens Athens. Between history and mythology, the zodiac knights fought epic battles that in each saga consecrated them as strong warriors. My favorite characters have always been Kanon of Gemini and the phoenix Ikki, considering them even above Seiya of Pegasus.
The defenders of the earth.
If I wanted to be part of a group to protect the earth from any threat, I would not hesitate to join a team headed by Mandrake the magician and the ghost of the jungle. This is another one of those comics that from the intro to the end are absolutely worthless. I never had a toy related to them, but when playing with my classmates I always chose to be the jungle ghost.
Captain Planet.
"Earth! Fire! Wind! Water! Heart!" And with this combination appeared Captain Planet, a superhero who confronted all those who wished to harm the earth. For a while this cartoon was the first one I watched in the afternoon, and then followed the zodiac knights and Sailor moon, another one that was also very attractive but not one of my favorites. As a fun fact, every time we played Captain Planet, a friend always cried because he had to be the one with the heart ring, because just like in the cartoon we didn't think it was that important.
Candy, Candy.
The only cartoon that seems to be out of the superhero role, but still had its place among my favorites. It makes me laugh a lot because in the lyrics of the intro it refers to happiness, but what I remember most is the sadness and seeing Candy Candy cry over and over again. I don't really remember the general plot of this cartoon, and I still wonder why I found it so interesting.
Undoubtedly, the comics deeply marked my childhood, and today I smile as I recall that time that will never come back but is still treasured in my heart. What about you? What was your favorite cartoon? It will be very interesting to know which was the cartoon that marked your childhood.

Una de las cosas que me gusta hacer cada vez que entro en Youtube, es ver videos sobre programas de tiempos pasados, canciones que parecen ser más buenas con el pasar del tiempo, y algunos eventos deportivos que marcaron una época. En cada experiencia, todo parece revivir una vez más, avivando sentimientos y emociones que en algún momento marcaron un espacio muy especial en mi vida. Uno de esos es lo que está relacionado con mi infancia, una etapa que recuerdo con mucha nostalgia.
Aún es fácil para mí recordar como cada tarde en casa de mi abuela me sentaba a ver televisión. Aquello era lo mejor para un niño que empezaba a soñar con sus héroes favoritos, personajes que también fueron protagonistas de mis juegos, y que hoy añoro como aquel niño que una vez fuí. Por eso, deseo compartir algunas intros de mis caricaturas favoritas, esas que cada vez que veo en Youtube son como echar un vistazo a mi infancia.
Mazinger Z.
Mi primera caricatura. Mi primer juguete. Siendo tan solo un niño ya empezaba a sentir admiración por este robot que libraba múltiples batallas con aquellos abanderados del mal. Incluso recuerdo la impresión cuando en un capítulo Mazinger Z pudo volar por primera vez, lo cual para un niño es bastante asombroso. El único juguete que jamás llegué a compartir con alguien más, ya que se trataba de algo muy especial para mí.
Los Thundercats.
Lion-O y los felinos cósmicos eran otra comiquita que ya nada más con la intro se destaca de forma ejemplar. Con su espada del augurio, nuestro personaje principal siempre salía al rescate de manera temeraria y valiente, haciendo frente a su archienemigo Mumm-Ra. Mi primer trauma infantil precisamente ocurrió con los Thundercats, una vez que tuvieron que enfrentar a un grupo bien peligroso llamado "Los lunatacs". ¿Por qué digo esto? Porque admito que dichos enemigos se veían muy fuertes para Lion-O y sus compañeros, así que esos capitulos estuvieron cargados de mucha tensión y emoción hasta que al fin los Thundercats salieron victoriosos.
He-Man.
¿Quién no quiere ser el hombre más fuerte del universo? Pues He-Man lo era, y más cuando levantaba su espada y decía: "Ya tengo el poder". A diferencia del anterior, He-Man jamás parecía estar bajo amenaza, pues obviamente era el hombre más fuerte que podía existir. Recuerdo que como niño, mi mamá me compró la colección completa de todos los personajes con el castillo de Grayskull, lo cual hoy sería una verdadera reliquia si no los hubiese perdido durante mi adolescencia.
Los caballeros del zodiaco.
Para mí, la mejor intro que puede existir. Es que ya de inicio te sientes todo un caballero, y con tu armadura estás dispuesto a pelear contra cualquiera que amenace a Atenas. Entre historia y mitología, los caballeros del zodiaco libraron batallas épicas que en cada saga los consagraban como fuertes guerreros. Mis personajes favoritos siempre han sido Kanon de géminis y el ave fénix Ikki, considerandolos incluso por encima de Seiya de Pegasus.
Los defensores de la tierra.
Si quisiera formar parte de un grupo para cuidar a la tierra de cualquier amenaza, no dudaría en integrar un equipo encabezado por Mandrake el mago y el fantasma de la selva. Esta es otra de esas comiquitas que desde la intro hasta el final no tienen desperdicio alguno. Nunca tuve un juguete relacionado con ellos, pero siempre al jugar con mis compañeros siempre elegía ser el fantasma de la selva.
Capitán Planeta.
"¡Tierra! ¡Fuego! ¡Viento! ¡Agua! ¡Corazón!" Y con esta combinación aparecía el capitán Planeta, un superhéroe que se enfrentaba a todos aquellos que deseaban dañar a la tierra. Por un tiempo está comiquita era la primera que veía en la tarde, y luego seguían los caballeros del zodiaco y Sailor moon, otra que también era muy llamativa pero no entra en mis favoritas. Cómo dato gracioso, cada vez que jugábamos al capitán Planeta, un amigo siempre lloraba porque le tocaba ser el del anillo del corazón, pues tal como en la comiquita no pensábamos que fuera tan importante.
Candy, Candy.
La única comiquita que parece salirse del rol de superhéroes, pero que aún así tenía su espacio entre mis favoritas. Me da mucha risa porque en la letra de la intro hace referencia a la felicidad, pero lo que más recuerdo es la tristeza y el ver llorar a Candy Candy una y otra vez. Realmente no recuerdo la trama general de esta comiquita, y aún me pregunto sobre porque la veía tan interesante.
Sin lugar a dudas, las comiquitas marcaron profundamente mi infancia, y hoy sonrio al rememorar ese tiempo que no volverá pero aún se atesora en mi corazón. Y, ¿Qué hay de tí? ¿Cuál fue tu comiquita favorita? Será muy interesante saber cuál fue esa comiquita que marcó tu infancia.
