I’m currently staying at the Happy Life Village resort just out side Dahab.It’s a fairly typical Egyptian Resort it’s story blocks of 16 and 12 apartments each around a central series of pools.
Photo from Google Maps unfortunately no drone flying in Egypt mores the pity it would be great.
It’s not full so only one of the three restaurants is open but that is not really a problem because there is always the pool bar for beer and snacks.
Cat life here has an interesting dynamic. Walking around the resort there are a number of groups all with their own unique place in the resort.
A group of Kittens and young cats work the restaurant tables as well as any waiter.
On the lookout for a fresh table.

I’m getting too old for working tables the young kids get all the best gigs.
Away From the Restaurant there’s as a very pregnant female cat that works the Pool Bar for titbits and snacks she is a real tart.
Most often during the day you will find most of the older cats in the shade of bush just chilling.
At night there are plenty of quiet spots to nap till someone turns up with a camera and disturbs you.
While there are quite a few cats around the resort its good to see that they all seem to be well fed and in good condition unlike many of the street cats you see in the town.
