Battle Challenge ft. Molten Ash Golem

Hello all and welcome to another weeks "Share your Battle Challenge"
This weeks challenge is using the "Molten Ash Golem" card. To save me from having to type that 3 word name, I'm going to call it "MAG".

The first thing to notate is the cards special abilities. "MAG" has the "Close Range" ability. This ability allows a ranged attack to be used in the front position. This can be very important, if your ranged attacker ends up being the last card on the field, it can still fight. Another thing about this card is that it has a very large number of HP. But on the downside this guy is slow and doesn't have a very strong attack. But the whole of this can be used as a tactical advantage if positioned correctly. So, let's look at my selected Battle for the week and examine the Lineup, Rulesets and my strategy.

My selected Battle is a Bronze League battle with a Mana Cap of 25. The Ruleset is "Unprotected". This ruleset means that neither team will have any armor given to them. "MAG" doesn't have any armor, nor does the fire splinter usually come equipped with very much. So this fact makes the ruleset not have much effect on my selection. Also, "MAG" is a ranged attacker and most players, I see, use the fire splinter for the strong melee attacks. But I have a combo within the fire splinter that is real strong and utilizes mostly ranged attacks. But before we discuss the strategy let's look at the Lineup.

My strategy with this lineup is making primary use of the "Blast" ability given by Summoner "Yodin Zaku". This ability makes every card on my team do damage to the cards they are attacking, as well as any card adjacent to the card being attacked. For this reason I use "Countess Sinash" which has the "Opportunity" ability. With this ability she attacks whatever enemy has the lowest health on the enemy team. Most likely the enemy tank will have more health than the other cards. This means she will attack the backfield and will likely hit three enemies in one attack because of the "Blast" ability. She also utilizes the "Camouflage" ability. With this ability she cannot be targeted for attack until she is in the front position. This is where "MAG" comes into play. With his very high HP he will be a hard target to take down. This gives the attacker, Countess Sinash, plenty of time to get some damage done. If you follow my link and check out the battle you'll see. By the time "MAG" was in the front position there was no way for the enemy to have created that much damage before Countess Sinash wiped out the team. An even bigger plus is the fact that "MAG" continues to fight even from the front position due to his ability.
All of these factors added to the blast ability given to every attack makes this strategy a very strong attack. Nothing more to say but look at the battle through the link below and imagine how much more damage could be dealt with a higher Mana Cap and more ranged attackers.
