Last month I published a post about the DEC token price. At that time it was available at over 30% Discount but not anymore. In the last few days, the price has gone up for Dec token. Let me tell you that this is one of the tokens that I keep buying more because I need more tokens for my rental management. I buy more because I need more tokens for doing the Payouts for my cards. I'd do it because I take most of the cards from the rental market and I make payments using DEC. When the price is low I try to buy as much as possible. I used all HBD to buy DEC tokens and I have been doing this for a long. If I remember correctly then I have been using this function since the time it was added to the keychain extension.
I use extension a lot and it is very helpful to use on the hive for gaming and various other purposes. Swap is another function that is very handy and easy to use so you can see on the below snapshot how I have been buying DEC tokens using the HBD through keychain. It saves time and I need not to deposit any HBD or hive in the high engine exchange to buy the token which is a convenient option.
I have purchased a lot of DEC recently and currently, my holding is not big which you can also see on the below snapshot taken from my account. Some tokens are in the game account and some are still in the exchange wallet which I can transfer which is not a problem. Also, the price for the Dec token is going up if you look at the overall prices in the market.
Let me take you through the price chart for DEC and in the last month the price has grown a lot. If you look at the trend then it has been going upward and looks like soon it is going to cross the price of $0.90 for 1000 tokens. I would like to mention that it is known as the stablecoin of the splinterlands game where the value of one thousand tokens is expected to be one dollar.
In this price which you can see on the chart the value for 1000 tokens is $0.81 and it was less than seventy cents when I purchased it a few weeks back. To be honest it was $0.68 if I tried to be precise with the value and at that time I used all my HBD to buy the Dec. Sometimes liquidity is the problem because I do not have funds to buy more and that is why I stopped my buying practice many times. As a player who is dependent on the rental market, I always prefer to have Dec at a discount.
Conclusion
I will try to keep a tab on the price but in the meantime, I will also try to make a good balance of hbd or hive. This is because once the price is down then I can buy more. After all, anyway, this is going to help me to manage my rental better and that to a discounted prices. It is the main currency of the game that we can use to buy a lot of assets and also to pay for the rental charges of the card in the market. I have always used this coin as a currency for making payments of rent instead of credit I believe it is a better option to go for.
