Hiya Splinterlanders :)
Description:
All units have the Fury ability.
Think carefully before including a unit with Taunt in your lineup as they will take double damage from units with Fury.
Firstly, the description of the ruleset in the game is not perfect, sometimes you got just general information which not giving you all information you need. Best way to read the full description as above from the game documentation at least once. You can check all here.
I seriously encourage you guys to check this site, even more advanced players could find something interesting there.
In my opinion, Ferocity is not a very defining ruleset, as some of which we discussed in previous articles. Usually, you just need to avoid playing taunt monsters and be more careful about different targeting abilities which could ruin your strategy. As always you can read about some cards which you should use or avoid in @iamgem005 article
We have not so interesting ruleset for today, so I hope at least the battle will be more exciting. Sometimes you can use Jacek for battle when you expected to see Taunt monster, so totally opposite for today's topic. But for today's battle, we have Aimless Ruleset, so Conqueror Jacek mirror match. And Verus not just a random player, but one of the best silver tournament players @slaifer-red-01.
For both our teams we have only 2 matched cards Lava Launcher which is so great card and Summoner. For the rest of the cards, we choose a different strategy. I usually tried to avoid playing melee cards without Reach ability in second position, but this time in my opinion giving additional armor was crucial. The opponent used a nice trick with martyr card as the last card to buff a very strong Last Stand monster. Let's see how the battle went.
Round 2, I think I cannot imagine a better start to this battle. Our team luckily managed to kill Tinderlock with Giant Killer hit, a very dangerous card, and then we eliminated the martyr card, which now buff is not so important.
Round 3, things happened fast :), we lost our two backside units, but we got some lucky retaliate hits as well. Additional Armor helped a lot, and it seems that we have an advantage here.
Final Blow - Round 4 - even with 56 mana, the battle could end quite fast, we both had very aggressive setups, but overall my additional defense/support unit made a difference.
For this kind of battle where we received scattershot as a ruleset, the most effective strategy is to use Conqueror Jacek. The summoner has very powerful abilities with a small disadvantage which is negated by the ruleset in our case. So during battle preparation, I was quite sure that opponent will use that summoner. My idea even with sacrificing some firepower, get some additional defense. An additional thing is a speed, we cannot fall totally behind, so any speed buff is necessary. Let's see our choices here.
Today's Battle Mage Secrets ruleset maybe wasn't the most exciting, but sometimes we have to go through less interesting things to appreciate more others :). Some philosophical digression for you for free :)
Of course, if you know that opponent will not play the taunt monster you can be more prepared to snipe out some of his backline support monster. In general, my advice is still rather focus fire, because it's just a more reliable strategy. See you next time :)
I hope you like this kind of battle and strategy presentation. More strategy analysis, discussion, and prediction games you can find on my Wednesday Splinterlands.tv stream. You can check the schedule here

We continue our game from the previous week, today new battle, new card to win :).
I come to some idea, I hope you will like them and participate. Every week I will publish one battle, and your goal is to point out the first victim of the battle and who will be the winner. This game is exactly the same as my prediction game which I run on my Wednesday Splinterlands.tv stream. I know that not everyone can attend the stream, so I hope you will still have fun in that way. More about the rules can be read here.
Among all participants who get the correct answer, I will randomly (probably on my Wednesday stream) choose one winner.
The prize of the blog prediction game for the lucky winner will be the epic card:
Here we got the battle with Ferocity (and scattershot :D ) ruleset:
Game instruction:
Try to point out which monster will die first on the battlefield and who wins the battle
- t - top player
- b - bottom player
- number - order counting from the first position
Examples:
t2b = monster on the second position of top player die first, the bottom player wins
b6t = monster on the sixth position of bottom player die first, the top player wins
t3t = monster on the third position of top player die first, the top player wins
