Equalizer rarely until now was being used with another rule imposed of restricting the style of monster physical, ranged or magic, but today after the announcement of the challenge of the week to be using it I was faced with a battle a little difficult for me, had the rules Equalizer and Going the Distance, so I had to think of a composition totally with the ranged attack while only having two elements at disposal removing the fact that Dragons can integrate with both.
Since my beginning I have played little with the Light and Fire elements, I believe I am dedicating all my monster rent in 50% Water, 30% Earth and 20% Neutral, I like the neutrals for helping me with monsters in both compositions besides having interesting monsters at a relatively low price, Magi Sphinxs is a great example that probably if mana is available in battle I will be using it.
『✦』Monsters selected for the showdown
As I mentioned above there were not many monsters available in these elements, however I could still enjoy great ranged attackers with monsters in the fire element, I decided to use as a tank the monster Molten Ash Golem thanks to its large amount of maximum life besides benefiting in the first position with its ability, my second tank that would move forward after the defeat of the first was Lava Launcher, it has a great attack power and amount of maximum health, besides already benefiting with the same benefit of the first but with an armor advantage, Fire Demon and Scavo Firebolt were the damage dealers to the opponent's monster from a safe point, right behind was the Ettin Spearman** acting as a protective wall for my damage dealers, besides also having a great attack power, finishing in the last position with the possible greatest attack power established in the composition, being the Gobson Bomber**, it has the advantage of not being able to be attacked in the last position and after its ability to recharge is able to be used it has a great damage capable of eliminating the enemy.
『✦』Battle with Equalizer
I expected a fire elemental composition with something big like Yodin Zaku, however the enemy made a Light composition totally focused on the raw damage that Pelacor Arbalest could promote thanks to his double shot ability and the attack increase with the summoner, at first I thought I could win, it was balanced until the second round where the opponent's plan was coming true, he had a great defensive scheme with shooters that contained armor allowing many of my powerful attacks to be lost as happened with Gobson Bomber hitting exactly (6) points on Goblin Chariot's armor.
In the fifth round I still had a little hope since I was in advantage of 3 vs 2, however again I had a wasted attack from Gobson Bomber on the enemy's armor while Pelacor Arbalest hit all his shots in a row, in the end I was left with only my last monster waiting for defeat, I think it was a good try although using some ranged monsters with Snipe and Sneak abilities would be of great help to try and eliminate the biggest damage dealer of the opposing team, the worst part is that I was very thoughtful about using Pyromaniac and Countess Sinash, I'm not sure about the possible choice of Countess Sinash as the best option since I don't fully know if her ability of opportunity would focus on the necessary target or the frontline monsters that were losing their armor, this would result in the same process without her use, a friend of mine helped me acquire for my collection the monster Cornealus, and after researching further I actually found that this monster could be a great emergency frontline monster thanks to its healing power, since the formula works by restoring 1/3 of the monster's maximum health value always rounded down and since the mentioned monster in its level contains exactly 11 points of maximum health it would have a great sustain until the damage dealers get their objective.
『✦』Post-Battle Conclusion
In Splinterlands every day is a new surprise in the form of battle, there are so many monsters that are still not being used fully in battle and others yet to be acquired, however mount only two decks as I was doing selecting only two elements in left a little uncertain of what to use with the prohibition of types of attacks and elements, that is now I intend to mount at least four with two possible selections each, perhaps I do not care at the moment with the collection of Dragons since so little was used in my process of evolution in Splinterlands, thank you for your time devoted to my post, I hope I have collaborated with something relative to you from knowledge to exchange information, until the next.
Thank you for taking the time to read, if it pleases you leave a positive vote and perhaps a comment to assist me in creating other content on the Hive blog platform, a great week to you. Until next time.
