I run pools that are not scams. To say to avoid pools just means to take away new players discounts. My Chaos Legion pack pool is legit and by joining you get to buy a Chaos legion pack for $3 and 0.84 vouchers instead of $4 and 1 voucher. I also run a guild rental pool which is legit.
Don't say don't pool your money, just make sure the person you are trusting is trustworthy.
