It is great to have another opportunity to connect with you all once again as we continue celebrating the 6th Anniversary of Splinterlands. If you missed last week's post where I kicked off this special Social Media Challenge, you can catch up on my journey and other details here.
Now, let us dive deeper into some of my achievements, goals, and would like to share some advice for newcomers to this incredible game! 🤗
Introductions - A Little About Myself
For those who are new, I am a dedicated Splinterlands player who has been part of this vibrant Community for several years. My journey has been filled with exciting battles, strategic growth, and being part of some fantastic guilds. You could find more details in the previous post as today's post is not about that! Today, I want to share more about my accomplishments and future aspirations within the game! 😊
Achievements & Proud Moments - Reaching the Champions Tier
One of my most significant achievements in Splinterlands has been reaching the Champions tier in ranked battles. This tier is the highest league available in the game, and it was a thrilling experience to see my rating soar above 4000, landing me in Champions II in both the Modern and Wild Leagues. The daily grind and strategic gameplay have truly paid off, and I am incredibly proud of this accomplishment especially when I managed to secure a placing in the Leaderboard! ✌️
Achievements & Proud Moments - Balthazar Scholar
Another highlight of my Splinterlands journey has been becoming a Balthazar Scholar. Being part of this family, led by the amazing @captainwhoco, has been an honor. Our team is so well-organized and effective that some in the Community even mistook us as a bot farm! Within the guild, I established myself as one of the pioneer scholars and was frequently crowned the top battler in our in-house tournaments. However, as we have recruited some phenomenal players, the competition within the guild has intensified, and it has been inspiring to see everyone improve their skills! 💪
Upcoming Goals - Staking SPS
Looking forward, one of my primary goals is to continue staking Splintershards (SPS). My target is to reach 70,000 SPS by the end of the year. This goal is part of my broader strategy to not only enhance my gameplay experience but also to improve my earnings and contribute to the Splinterlands ecosystem. Staking SPS allows players like me to earn rewards and participate in governance, further enriching the Community and the game’s development! 🙏
Upcoming Goals - Achieving Champion I
Another important goal is to achieve a place in the elusive Champion I tier. This goal will require even more dedication, strategic planning, and perhaps a bit of luck, but I am confident that with continuous improvement and persistence, I will get there! 😤
Advice for Newcomers
Master the Bascis: Begin your Splinterlands journey by getting a solid grasp on the fundamentals. Play practice matches to familiarize yourself with the gameplay mechanics, explore the different Elements, and build a strong foundation for your strategic approach.
Diversify Your Collection: While it might be tempting to focus on mastering a single Element, diversifying your card collection across various Splinters will give you greater flexibility in battles. Experiment with different combinations to discover which playstyles suit you best and enhance your overall game experience.
Join a Guild: Guilds in Splinterlands are Communities of players united by a shared goal: supporting each other's growth and success. Joining a guild provides opportunities for collaboration, shared strategies, and access to exclusive events and rewards like Guild Brawls. Guilds also offer valuable insights and advice, making your journey in Splinterlands a collective adventure rather than a solo endeavor.
Engage with the Hive Ecosystem: The Hive blockchain is the backbone of Splinterlands, fostering a vibrant ecosystem where players exchange strategies, experiences, and battle insights. Engage actively with the Splinterlands Community on Hive by participating in discussions, reading posts, and sharing your own insights. This platform is also an excellent starting point for creating blogs, allowing you to leverage your earnings to enhance and expand your card collection!
