Today was a much better day for me. I won both my games.
My first game. I was black. 14 points for black on the board minus komi equals 7.5 points. This was against a 2 dan.
My fifth and last game was against a 4 dan. I was black and the difference on the board was 18 points on the board or 11.5 points for black.

For me personally, 3/5 was nothing to write home about but not too shabby, either. Kill row: 3d- 2d+ 1k- 2d+ 4d+. Slightly, but only very slightly below expectations.
According to GoR (Go Rating) calculator, I'm going to lose 3 points and my new rating will be 2270, which is pretty solid for a 3 dan in Europe. My Performance GoR, which is the rating that would not have changed as a result of this tournament was 2245, which is also ok for a 3 dan.
The winner was Olli Ervelä, 3 dan (quite strong) from Tampere. He won 5/5 of his games. Tampere is clearly getting stronger. I was involved in promoting a new Tampere 1 kyu to 2 dan. Given how much Olli trains, I would expect the first player in Tampere to be promoted to 4 dan within the next 12 months.
