Hola a todos los tattoo lovers, el mundo de las tintas siempre me encantó, desde pequeña veía revistas y quedaba fascinada con este arte corporal, soy amante del rock y en esta época de niña la gran mayoría de los rockeros tenían tattos lo que hacía que me llamarán aún más la atención.
Mi familia no es muy amante de los tattos, sobre todo mi mamá, quien decía que eso era para los presos y yo solo me reía de ello. Cuando cumplí los 18 años ya trabajaba y eso hizo que sintiera cierta independencia de tomar la decisión de hacer mi primer tattoo. Aunque mi mamá no me habló luego de eso por un buen tiempo (risas).
Este llevaba un bonito significado, darle un homenaje a mi abuelo, quien fue mi padre en la infancia y falleció cuando yo tenía 10 años de edad. A él le encantaban las libélulas, las llamaba caballitos del diablo, las agarraba siempre, me las enseñaba, luego las soltaba.
Es así como decidí que el tatto perfecto sería una libélula. Estudiaba en la universidad y al lado quedaba un centro comercial y había un tatuador del cual no tenía referencias, pero yo quería hacerme eso como fuera, así que le comenté de la idea, me hizo el presupuesto y cuando estuvo listo el diseño, me realizó mi tattoo.
Yo quedé encantada con él, fue en un lugar donde el dolor para mí fue súper soportable. Pero al cumplir 16 años de habérmelo realizado, ya tenía un tiempo en mi mente darle una mejora o reestructuración, conservando siempre el concepto del mismo.
Tengo varios conocidos con quién me he tatuado, así que hablé con uno de ellos y le dije que quería, fueron largas horas de conversación y envíos de imágenes, inspiraciones para ver cómo podríamos construir el cover.
Cómo la mayoría que se hace tattos, debes saber que siempre los covers llevan su trabajo, sus detalles y sobre todo siempre quedan mucho más grande del tamaño original.
Las fotos que mostraré son de teléfonos viejos de como era el tatto, porque el día que me comencé a hacer el cover olvidamos tomar el antes...
Fueron 3 sesiones divididas así:
-1era sesión: 7 horas.
-2da sesión: 6 horas.
-3era sesión: 1 hora, para corregir unos detalles de color y uno que otro toque mágico.
Si me preguntan por el dolor, hasta me dormía en ciertos momentos, es que me relajo mucho y disfruto de cada momento. No utilizo ningún tipo de anestesia, la experiencia del tatto para mí tiene que ser en presencia. El contacto, el dolor, el cansancio, la conversación con el artista, todo es una experiencia única. Hello tatto lovers, the world of inks always enchanted me, since I was a little girl I used to see magazines and I was fascinated with this body art, I am a rock lover and when I was a child most of the rockers had tattoos which made me even more attracted to them.
My family is not very fond of tattoos, especially my mom, who said that was for prisoners and I just laughed about it. When I turned 18 I was already working and that made me feel some independence to make the decision to get my first tattoo. Although my mom didn't talk to me about it for a long time after that (laughs).
This one had a nice meaning, to pay homage to my grandfather, who was my father in my childhood and passed away when I was 10 years old. He loved dragonflies, he used to call them "caballitos del diablo", he would always grab them, show them to me, then he would let them go.
That's how I decided that the perfect tattoo would be a dragonfly. I was studying at the university and next door there was a shopping mall and there was a tattoo artist of whom I had no references, but I wanted to get it done no matter what, so I told him about the idea, he gave me the budget and when the design was ready, he did my tattoo.
I was delighted with it, it was in a place where the pain for me was super bearable. But after 16 years of having it done, I had already had in my mind to give it an improvement or restructuring, always keeping the concept of it.
I have several acquaintances with whom I have tattooed, so I talked to one of them and told him I wanted to, it was long hours of conversation and sending images, inspirations to see how we could build the cover.
Like most people who get tattoos, you should know that the covers always take their work, their details and above all they are always much larger than the original size.
