Discover the New Features of Holodex: Claim Your Rewards Now!

Wow, it's been a long time since I posted so frequently. However, I couldn't contain the excitement of showing you what I've been working on. In the previous post, I introduced you to the Holodex project post, a search engine created with HTML, JavaScript and CSS for Holozing. Upon further review of the Holozing project, I saw that I had an opportunity to add more functionality to the project. One of them is the ability to claim Zing token rewards.

You can access the Holodex from the following link of Netlify:

Although I haven't changed the design, I have added a couple of features that have improved it. I'll start by describing the improvements...

One of the main improvements is the ability to log in with Hive Keychain. You just need to enter your username and click on the Hive Keychain icon.

In the right panel, I added the options that the user can perform. Currently, the following are working:

  • Rewards
  • Token Information
  • Sign off

In the Token Information Panel, you can see basic information about the token, as can be seen in the following image.

In the Rewards Panel, you will find one of the functions that I liked the most. You can see the current rewards you have to claim for the ZING token and you can claim them by simply clicking on the “Claim” button.

Now, after showing how the Holodex improvements work, I'll show you a little bit of how I implemented them.

As I continue working on the project based on JavaScript without any framework such as Vue.js or React, I had to use the jQuery library to make queries to the different APIs; to obtain the price, claim rewards, among others.

To log in, just this small section of code is enough:

For the token information I have the following:

That's a bit of the code. I maintain the same files in my repository, which you can review and make suggestions. I continue to maintain the project with the free Netlify service. However, as the project grows, I would like to host it on a VPS and purchase a domain so they can access a friendlier URL.

I look forward to reading your comments and using the tool. Link
