Here we go with day 13 of Zingtober!
I was a little late, the truth is there were prolonged electrical problems in the area where I live and I also had some pending work. But here I am to complete my challenge of the 13th.
Word of the day: Horizon. The truth is that the illustration of the day is more symbolic than any other I have done previously during the challenge. I depict Holozing as a center of union in a sphere that is the earth. Connecting people from different parts of the world through a network. Also, at the same time it is seen by a boy enjoying the immensity of the project. The night, the natural elements and the open arms to the bright night image, invite to "receive and feel part of something big." There is a big Horizon!
Let's quickly see Drawing process:
Resources: Mobile (my tablet didn't want to work), digitizer pen and Medibang Paint as drawing program. I started with a sketch, to have a better perspective of what I needed to achieve. Then I started with predetermined shapes and symmetry brush to form the sphere and the net under Holozing, playing with layers I achieved the sphere you see. Then I saved those layers and started with an outline and heavy shadows to give shape to my boy. The truth is I wanted the illustration far from being neat, to be somewhat "imperfect", so I combined a dirt brush and a smooth round pen. For the clouds and grass, I used some special brushes. I used the airbrush for some areas of attention, a blurry brush and a Gaussian brush in some areas.
