DAY 25 - [Zingtober] SCARECROW

HELLO! GOOD MORNING!

How's everyone doing? Good, I hope?

As for me, I woke up with a nightmare, and that dream really brought up some old wounds but I know I’ll forget about it eventually, haha! Anyway, I was thinking of jumping to the latest date but I know I still have time to work on this prompt and I can't let this one slip by since October is almost over, and November is fast approaching in just four days, a spooky month ~ so I thought of working on this zingtober prompt.

DRAWING PROCESS

Let’s skip the part where I usually show the sketch, since my sketches often look like line art anyway. At first, I drew female light healer appearing to take off a pumpkin mask, but I realized it wouldn’t look like a scarecrow if the pumpkin mask isn’t worn, so I added male ocean healer behind her, wearing the same scarecrow costume. The logos on their outfits will identify them incase some thinks it doesn't look like the characters in holozing hahaha! also i added miu at the top since i love drawing miu ~

I added the black and white shades randomly. If you notice, my sketches are rough, and I didn't bother cleaning them up. The reason for this is that I saw digital artists who use their sketches as line art, and it looks really good. I'm trying out that style, even though it may not be too presentable. I'm actually quite satisfied with it, as it adds more drama compared to the formal approach I used in my previous drawings.

FINAL DRAWING

Final drawing will always have a one color background to finalize everything, i was going for dark background then i used the hue option in csp and played with the color to see what background color should be good to go with my drawing ~ again there's still so much to improve I'll work hard to make some good difference in my digital arts in the future ~
