The result of this observation is a rare grasshopper that I found today. This grasshopper is commonly known as the tiger grasshopper or sword grasshopper because it has a sword-shaped body part in the tail.

In Latin, this grasshopper is known as "Macroxiphus sumatranus (Haan 1843)ā€ is a species of Orthoptera in the katydids family. They are active at night. This grasshopper is known as a predatory katydid. This grasshopper can attack at any time and has a quite sharp bite. Its teeth can hurt your fingernails.
