Hace pocos meses me compré un telar de madera para aprender a tejer mostacillas y construir pulseras y collares, al principio se me hizo muy difícil pero ya con la práctica me he atrevido a hacer cosas mas elaboradas.
Hoy les mostraré como hacer una pulsera tejida en colores y corazones 💙.

A few months ago I bought a wooden loom to learn how to weave beads and make bracelets and necklaces, at first it was very difficult but with practice I have dared to make more elaborate things.
Today I will show you how to make a bracelet woven in colors and hearts 💙.
💙 ## Materiales que utilicé:
- telar de madera
- hilo chino color café
- hilo encerado blanco
- aguja y tijeras
- mostacillas de varios colores.

- wooden loom
- brown chinese thread
- white waxed thread
- needle and scissors
- beads of various colors.
Vamos a poner en las ranuras del telar el hilo chino color cafe, vamos a amarrarlo de lado a lado con dos nudos.
We are going to put in the slots of the loom the brown Chinese thread, we are going to tie it from one side to the other with two knots.
Luego vamos a pasar 10 filas de hilo encerado blanco, siempre separadas entre las ranuras del telar.
Al realizar las 10, cortamos el hilo haciendo nudo y dejando siempre un excedente de hilo para cerrar la pulsera al final.
Then we are going to pass 10 rows of white waxed thread, always separated between the slots of the loom.
When the 10 rows are done, we cut the thread making a knot and always leaving an excess of thread to close the bracelet at the end.
Tomaremos metro y medio de hilo, y vamos a anudar una de las puntas en la mitad del hilo chino que ya tenemos en el telar.
En la otra punta vamos a enhebrar la aguja y meteremos once mostacillas, y asi vamos a ir formando los corazones en los colores que vayamos queriendo. Como yo amo el color esta pulsera tendrá muchos tonos para que me sirva con cualquier look.
We will take a meter and a half of thread, and we will knot one of the ends in the middle of the Chinese thread that we already have in the loom.
In the other end we will thread the needle and put eleven beads, and so we will form the hearts in the colors we want. As I love color, this bracelet will have many tones so that it can be used with any look.
Siempre las mostacillas van por debajo de los hilos, y nos regresamos por el medio de las mostacillas, asi aseguramos que las mostacillas no se salgan.
Hare cuadros de colores con corazones en el medio, y los vamos a ir separando con mostacillas negras y blancas.
The beads always go underneath the threads, and we go back through the middle of the beads to make sure that the beads do not come out.
I will make colored squares with hearts in the middle, and we will separate them with black and white beads.
Esta pulsera la haré de un largo aproximado de 16 cm, para una muñeca talla S. Si necesitas que sea más larga, agregas más centímetros, siempre teniendo en cuenta que al finalizar también se agregará más largo con las terminaciones.
I will make this bracelet approximately 16 cm long, for a size S wrist. If you need it to be longer, add more centimeters, always keeping in mind that at the end you will also add more length with the endings.
Cuando terminamos los seis corazones, vamos a rematar los bordes con mostacillas doradas, cociendo una a una al borde de hilo chino.
Esto tomará también un tiempo pero le dara un mejor acabado a nuestro brazalete y no se veran las costuras.
When we finish the six hearts, we will finish off the edges with golden beads, one by one, by sewing them to the edge of the Chinese thread.
This will also take some time but it will give a better finish to our bracelet and the seams will not be visible.
Con cuidado sacamos los nudos de los hilos, y bajamos la pulsera del telar.
Cortamos todos los excentes de hilos que pueden quedar y anudaremos los extremos para asegurar nuestro brazalete.
Carefully remove the knots from the threads, and lower the bracelet from the loom.
We cut all the excess threads that may be left and knot the ends to secure our bracelet.
Esta pulsera como la hice a la medida la cerraremos con un nudo común al ponérsela.
Pero en las puntas vamos a colocar unos mostacillones para que se vea mas linda.
This bracelet as I made it to size we will close it with a common knot when we put it on.
But at the ends we are going to place some beads to make it look prettier.
Ya tenemos una linda pulsera, con un buen acabado para lucir en cualquier ocasión.
Estos trabajos toman su tiempo pero una vez que vamos practicando se va haciéndo más sencillo.

Now we have a nice bracelet, with a nice finish to wear on any occasion.
These works take time but once we practice it becomes easier.
