Love for creativity made me do this

Hi my fellow creative hands this is my first post here and this Sunday I just decided to give out this beautiful ashoke gele (head tie) to those of us who cherish good things of which I know all of us here do. Here is just a break down of how I started and the end of it. I used dummy head, office pin, then followed by the material (Ashoke) man power is involved I know you will be wondering what this man power could be is just my hands used to tie it

I folded the ashoke into two equal parts the formula for it is called 50, 50, place it's center on the dummy's center head and I made about five pleats in front after which I turned the pleated part to the back and extended the pleats to front

As the demarcated parts were brought to the front I twisted the two and started making my two sided ruffles that's where the name of the head tie was gotten from. Making the ruffles wasn't easy especially on a dummy's head though I took my time to make it look beautiful as you can
see

A lot of efforts were made to make the ruffles stand on its own without office pin the only parts I used it was at the last layer of the pleated part, at the two sides down the ears and at the center of the forehead and also the closing part at the back but for the ruffles is just hand made isn't it looking beautiful? Stay tuned as I upload the final look

It doesn't scatter so easily you can wear it two to three times then you can decide to loose it. Thank you so much for stopping by, comment like and vote see you in my next post
