In the day to day of my sewing I continue sewing when someone needs a garment, as in this case one of my friends came with her daughter to make her a pair of white trousers because she had a presentation and she wanted to have this trousers made which has elastic and also elastic in the part of the ankle, that is to say in the hem.
I had one day to do it, she had one but at the last minute the trousers had been stained with cold paint, she was doing a job and had the trousers on the table.
So she had to have these new trousers made so that she could do her dance performance, whenever they have a new performance or choreography of dances, she has to wear the costume according to the music, but these dances also convey messages of joy, and awareness, according to the theme that they are asked to do.
She was going to buy a pair of trousers, but she didn't have time to go from shop to shop to get one. But she had a white fabric that she had already bought a few months ago, so she preferred to have it made.
For her daughter who is a size 14, and because it is a lycra fabric, but thinner than the original lycra fabric; its texture is very soft, it is also ideal for these dances because of the movements they make, jumping, stretching, as the fabric is very flexible.
For the presentation of her activities she had to dress completely in white, she only needed these trousers, which I show you how I made them, taking another one as a measure.
En el día a día de mis costuras seguir cosiendo cuando alguien necesita una prenda de vestir, cómo en este caso una de las amigas, vino con su hija a que le hiciera un pantalón de color blanco ya que tenia una presentación y quiso mandar hacer este pantalón el cual lleva elástica.
Tuve un día para hacerlo, ella tenia uno pero a ultimo momento el pantalón se le había manchado con pintura al frio, ella estaba haciendo un trabajo y tenia el pantalón sobre la mesa, pero la pintura que había destapado se le cayó y manchó el pantalón.
Así que tuvo que mandar hacer este nuevo pantalón para poder hacer su presentación de baile, siempre que tienen una nueva presentación o coreografía de baile y danzas, tiene que llevar el traje de acuerdo a la música, pero estos bailes también transmiten mensajes de alegría, y conciencia, de acuerdo al tema que les piden.
Ella iba a comprar un pantalón, pero no le daba tiempo salir de tienda en tienda para conseguir uno. Pero ella tenía una tela blanca que ya había comprado hace unos meses, así que prefirió mandarlo hacer.
Para su hija que es una talla 14, y porque es una tela licrada, pero más delgada que la tela de licra original; es muy suave su textura, además es ideal para estos bailes por los movimientos que hacen, saltar, estirarse, ya que la tela es muy flexible.
Para la presentación de sus actividades tenia que vestirse totalmente de blanco, solamente le faltaba este pantalón, que les muestro como lo hice, tomando como medida otro.
I cut two front parts and two back parts, and then cut a strip 10cm wide by the width of the waistband of the trousers, and two other strips 10cm wide by 20cm long that will be part of the hem.
Corté dos parte delanteras y dos partes traseras, para luego corta una tira de 10 cm de ancho por el ancho de la cintura del pantalón, y otras dos tiras de 10cm de ancho por 20cm de largo que será parte del ruedo.
When I start sewing, I first sew the front and back of the trousers, with straight and then zig-zag seams, then I close the sides and the part between the legs.
This way I get the trousers almost assembled, then I close the waistband strip, which I put the elastic inside and I pass it over the seam, to be able to glue it to the trousers.
I do the same for the hem, but without the elastic, just gluing the strip.
This trousers was easy to make and assemble, as it doesn't have pockets. It was simple, but the result was very good.
My friend's daughter really liked the way it looked, ready for her dance performance.
Al empezar a coser primero la parte del tiro del frente, y parte trasera, con su costura recta y luego en zig-zag, luego voy cerrando los costados y la parte de entre las piernas.
Así obtengo el pantalón casi armado, luego cierro la tira de la pretina, la cual le coloco la elástica por dentro y le paso sobre costura, para poder pegar en el pantalón.
Así mismo hago la parte del ruedo, pero sin la elástica, solamente pegando la tira.
Este pantalón Fué fácil de hacer y armar, ya que no tiene bolsillos, Fué sencillo, pero el resultado, quedó muy bien.
A la hija de mi amiga le gustó mucho como le quedó, ya lista para su presentación de baile.
