Siempre me han gustado los títeres, me parece que pueden transmitir el mensaje que queramos, además que son muy divertidos.
Estoy muy feliz de compartir este proyecto con mis compañeros amantes de la aguja.
Como ya saben me encanta regalar, y este títere lo he creado para el regalo de una ahijadita rosada de amor, justo hoy arriba a sus cuatro añitos. Más tarde haremos una videollamada y le mostraré su regalo. Aparte de su títere le hago una torta para cantarle cumpleaños, ella está en un país diferente al mío, no la conozco físicamente, este es el cuarto año que celebro su cumpleaños a través de una videollamada.
Este un proyecto fácil de realizar y además rápido de tejer, me tomó unas seis horas en realizar, lo cual es maravilloso, ya que se puede ver un resultado rápido, bonito y divertido.

As you know I love to give gifts, and I created this puppet for the gift of a little pink goddaughter of love, just today on her fourth birthday. Later we will make a video call and I will show her her present. Apart from her puppet I make her a cake to sing her birthday, she is in a different country from mine, I don't know her physically, this is the fourth year that I celebrate her birthday through a video call.
This is an easy project to make and also quick to knit, it took me about six hours to make, which is wonderful, as you can see a quick, beautiful and fun result.
Es un proyecto que lleva poco material, se puede utilizar cualquier tipo de hilo, usé lana gruesa. El hecho de haber usado lana gruesa, ayudó a terminar más rápido el proyecto y le da un acabado más firme. Recomiendo usar lana gruesa para este tipo de proyecto, me gusta la firmeza que resulta y el acabado.
También usé aguja lanera, ojos de seguridad, ganchillo de medica 4.0 y tijeras.
It is a project that takes little material, you can use any type of yarn, I used thick wool. The fact that I used thick yarn helped to finish the project faster and gave it a firmer finish. I recommend using thick wool for this type of project, I like the firmness that results and the finish.
I also used a blunt yarn needle, safety eyes, medica 4.0 crochet hook and scissors.

Pasos para la realización del títere / Steps for the realization of the puppet
Cabeza / Head
Comenzar por la cabeza usando la lana seleccionada. Se harán dos piezas. Realicé una en color rosado y otra en color blanco, ya que el hilo rosado no me iba a alcanzar. Pueden usar la combinación que más les guste.
Start at the head using the selected wool. Two pieces will be made.I made one in pink and one in white, since the pink thread was not going to be enough for me. You can use the combination you like the most.

Lengua/ Tongue
La lengua la tejí en lana roja, es muy parecido a como tejí la parte de la cabeza, solo que esta se debe tejer más pequeña para que quede dentro de la boca.
I knitted the tongue in red yarn, it is very similar to how I knitted the head part, only that it must be knitted smaller so that it fits inside the mouth.

Uniendo piezas / Joining parts
Lo primero es colocar la lengua entre la pieza rosada y la blanca, alinear y fijar con un alfiler. Luego tejer puntos bajos atravesando una parte del lado blanco, las dos partes de la lengua y la otra parte rosada, asegurarse que las cuatro capas sean unidas adecuadamente.
First place the tongue between the pink and white pieces, align and pin. Then knit low stitches through one part of the white side, the two parts of the tongue and the other pink part, making sure that the four layers are properly joined.
Colocar los ojos / Placing the eyes
Antes de avanzar en el tejido del cuerpo del títere, colocar los ojos de seguridad, para ello primero fijar en donde desean colocar los ojos de seguridad, y luego colocar los ojos.
Before moving on to the weaving of the puppet's body, place the safety eyes, to do this first fix where you want to place the safety eyes, and then place the eyes.

Tejer hasta el largo requerido, esta es la parte que va ir en el brazo de quien usará el títere.
Este proyecto tiene algo maravilloso, teniendo el cuerpo y la cabeza, puedes hacer el animal que desees, por ejemplo, si se desea realizar un osito cambiaría la forma del hocico y las orejitas.

Orejas / Ears
Tejer dos orejas, usé el mismo color de lana que usé para tejer el cuerpo. Luego de tejer el par de orejas, fijar con alfileres en donde se requiere estén las orejas, luego unir usando una aguja lanera.

Bordar la nariz / Embroidering the nose
Para completar la cara del títere bordé la nariz usando hilo de algodón. Acá tengo que mejorar la técnica de bordado, seguiré practicando. Lo primero para bordar es marcar con alfileres en en donde se requiere quede ubicada la nariz.
To complete the face of the puppet I embroidered the nose using cotton thread. Here I have to improve the embroidery technique, I will keep practicing. The first thing to embroider is to mark with pins where the nose is required to be located.
Para que el títere luzca coqueto, le coloqué una mariposa, le pueden decorar con un lacito, un pom-pom, entre otros.
To make the puppet look cute, I placed a butterfly, you can decorate it with a bow, a pom-pom, among others.
Estoy feliz con el resultado, sé que a mi ahijadita le va gustar. Hemos jugado vía videollamada con los amigurrumis, en uno de esos juegos me pidió le hiciera una cebra y una conejita, pues le hice una conejita, y esta será muy divertida, ya que ella le dará vida con sus movimientos, seguramente su papi le hará cuentos y usarán el títere para recrear el cuento.
I am happy with the result, I know my goddaughter will like it. We have played via video call with the amigurrumis, in one of those games she asked me to make her a zebra and a bunny, so I made her a bunny, and this is going to be a lot of fun, since she will bring it to life with her movements, surely her daddy will tell her stories and they will use the puppet to recreate the story.
