Yey! I am the proud owner of at least one fully-functioning pair of knickers (underpants/ briefs/ slips)....

Having hummed and hawed about creating underwear for so long, I recognised that there was some block energetically to my smoothly creating them - probably relating to my not being skilled in the structuring of underwears - so I decided this week to begin by adjusting and repairing older knickers, etc, so that I can learn from them.

Above is the first pair I approached: having put on some weight in my hips in recent years, and them already having been a bit tight, this was a great initial project to help me understand knickers better.

This is a funny kind of ankle-sock-ish fashion item from many years ago, which has been sitting in a bag of underwear-which-doesn't-fit-me, and which was a really nice stretchy solution piece for my widening the black knickers.

I cut a strip like this, off of the ankle thingy, and then just sewed it into the 'briefs'.

It was the most basic cutting apart of the side seam, and then pinning this lovely stretchy 'fishnet' piece into that space.

But I had a lot of lovely revelations whilst doing the work!

My spiritual awakening and growth over recent years has helped me notice how sensitive I am to the vibes of everything - particularly clothing, as I often mention - and particularly undergarments.... It is VERY significant that our economic bondage to cheap clothing made by folks effectively under slavery, keeps us in the dreamspell of shame and numbness, blocked energy and vitality - especially in our most sensitive areas of our beingness.

Sewing by hand, putting prayer into our work, and repairing things that have been cheaply made and which grip tightly onto my lower chakra - this is a wonderful remedy for how the original structure was brought into being and sold to me.

The tiniest stitch can be so powerful, in building a protective shield to the toxicity and aggression of the world around us... I am getting more and more inspired by clothing as a magical second skin, and by our capacity to change even the structures that already exist in the world: correcting old ways and unconscious acceptance of negative vibes - and bringing my body into a truly safe place and world again.

And I feel wonderful wearing these knickers!
