Day by day those of us who enjoy nature and its charms are confronted with incredible situations that surprise us in a good way.
Those of us who choose this lifestyle are generally attentive to those small events that happen in front of us and do not cease to surprise us no matter how much we see them. That is why we know how pleasant it is to walk in the midst of natural environments discovering the true meaning of life.
Día a día quienes disfrutamos de la naturaleza y de sus encantos nos enfrentamos a situaciones increíbles que nos sorprenden de buena manera.
Quienes elegimos este estilo de vida generalmente estamos atentos a esos pequeños eventos que pasan frente a nosotros y no dejan de sorprendernos por tanto que los veamos. Por ello sabemos lo placentero que es caminar en medio de entornos naturales descubriendo el verdadero sentido de la vida.

A few weeks ago when we were touring Peninsula Valdes, in one of the viewpoints near Puerto Piramides, I found this little winged friend in the rearview mirror of the driver's door of my car.

When my youngest daughter realized what was happening, she asked to get out of the car to see this cute encounter. I thought that with so much movement the small specimen of Mimus Patagonicus or better known as Calandria Mora.

Hace unas semanas cuando estuvimos de paseo por Península Valdés, en uno de los miradores de cercanos a Puerto Pirámides, me encontré con este pequeños amigo alado en el espejo retrovisor de la puerta del conductor de mi auto.
Fue en ese mismo instante que decidí buscar mi cámara para intentar dejar registrado aquel lindo encuentro. Cuando mi hija menor se dio cuenta de lo que estaba sucediendo pidió bajar del auto para ver ese lindo encuentro. Yo pensaba que con tanto movimiento el pequeño ejemplar de Mimus Patagonicus o más conocida como Calandria Mora.
I was able to get my little girl out of the car and the lark was still standing there, as if it was not afraid, as if it was sure that we would not harm it, giving us its trust and letting us enjoy its presence.
My daughter, who was eating bread, shared a piece with the friendly visitor who quickly took it with his beak and almost instantly another specimen appeared, in our opinion one of his parents. We offered them some more bread, but the last one that approached kept a little more distance.
Pude bajar a mi pequeña del auto y la calandria seguía ahí parada, como si no sintiese temor, como si estuviese segura de que no le haríamos daño, regalándonos su confianza y dejándonos disfrutar de su presencia.
Mi hija que estaba comiendo pan compartió un trozo con el simpático visitante quien lo tomo rápidamente con su pico y casi de manera instantánea aparece otro ejemplar, a nuestro parecer uno de sus padres. Les convidamos un poco más de pan, pero el último que se acercó mantuvo un poco más de distancia.
After a long time of fluttering around us and interacting with us, they decided to go under a bush where they cleaned their beaks and feathers with great care. After perching on a branch and being rocked by the wind, they looked at us as if to say goodbye and both decided to fly off in search of new horizons.
Nature is so wise and so wonderful that if we pay attention to it, it will give us beautiful moments in which we will be able to connect with our inner selves.
Después de un buen tiempo de revolotear a nuestro alrededor e interactuar con nosotros decidieron irse debajo de un arbusto donde se dedicaron a limpiar su pico y sus plumas con mucho esmero. Después de posarse sobre una rama y de que el viento los meciera, nos miraron como regalándonos una despedida y ambos decidieron volar en busca de nuevos horizontes.
La naturaleza es tan sabia y tan maravillosa que si prestamos atención a ella nos regalará bellos momentos en los cuales lograremos conectar con nuestra interior.
