Promenade
I often go for a long walk in the morning with my dog and husband if I have enough time. Sometimes, I go by myself with my dog as well. Usually, our long walk takes about 30-40 minutes to return. I don't see many cars on this route. There are many interesting things to observe in nature. The scenery is stunning. I will show you some photos of our peaceful neighbourhood.
There are pretty goats on the steps outside of the house. There are brown and black & white ones who always hang out together in the yard. They are very cheerful and calm. I usually wave to them, and they look very curious about us. My dog also wants to greet them every time we meet.
Some junk cars are sitting in the field. Sometimes, I see very interesting classic cars there. There is an old-looking hut in the field as well. This is a typical Nova Scotian scene that I love to see. There are beautiful flowers behind the hut.
This is someone's garden bed in the field. The fence is probably blocking deer or raccoons, I guess. There is a well inside the fence. This is also a nice image of the countryside. What kinds of vegetables does this person grow? Hopefully, they can harvest tasty vegetables soon.
This is also an interesting photo. There is an old-looking hut behind the beautiful flowers and plants. It is an old outhouse (toilet). People used to go outside to use toilets like this. There was an old house near this hut, but it's gone. I don't know why they left this outhouse. There is a garden near this outhouse, so probably people kept it for convenience.
Queen Anne's Lace: This is such a beautiful and elegant flower. It is a great medicine. I love the shape of the flowers.
This birdhouse looks very colorful. I love the new branches surrounding it. There was an outdoor art exhibition in front of this tree before. There used to be two horses, but they are not there anymore. We loved to greet each other. I miss them.
Oh, there is a new shed next to the new house. It looks very pretty. Canadian goldenrod and Queen Anne's Lace are also surrounding it.
This is an old-looking gazebo in the garden. I imagine people having a nice tea party here. I love the Japanese-style gazebo.
This is my favorite garden in my neighborhood. The vegetables always look very healthy and grow quickly. I guess the owner uses good soil for his garden.
The grass already looks golden brown. I love to see this colour in the middle of summer. The smell of the dried grass is also very sweet and earthy. However, I already feel a bit melancholic, knowing that summer will end soon and cold winter is coming.

散歩道
朝時間がある時は、よく主人と犬といっしょに長い距離の散歩に出かけます。ときどき私と犬だけで出かけることもあります。その長距離散歩は、戻ってくるまでにだいたい３０ー４０分くらいかかります。自然の中にはおもしろいチェックポイントがいろいろあります。風景がとても美しいです。のどかな近所の散歩道の写真をいくつかお見せします。
階段にヤギが座っていますね。茶色と白黒の２匹のヤギはいつもいっしょにいて、庭で遊んでいます。とても元気で穏やかなヤギたちです。手を振ると、こちらに興味津々になってくれます。私の犬もヤギたちに会うと嬉しそうです。
廃車の車が野原に放置されています。たまに珍しいクラシックカーがあるので見るのが好きです。近くには古い物置があります。この風景はノバスコシア州ではよく見かける風景で、とても好きです。美しい花が物置の後ろに咲き乱れています。
これは野原の中にある誰かの畑です。囲いを作って、おそらく鹿やアライグマの侵入を防いでいるのでしょう。囲いの中には井戸もあります。田舎ならではのいい光景です。どんな野菜を育てているのでしょうか。もう時期食べごろになるといいですね。
これもおもしろい写真です。きれいな花と野草の後ろにチラッと見えるのは、外に設置された昔のトイレです。昔は外にトイレがあったのですよね。少し前まではこの横に古い家があったのですが、解体されました。なぜかこのトイレだけは残されたままです。この野原の一角には誰かの畑がありますので、便宜上トイレを残したのかもしれませんね。
ノラニンジン：とても美しくエレガントな花です。漢方でもあります。この花の形が好きです。
カラフルな鳥小屋です。小屋の周りにちょうどよく枝と葉っぱがあるのがかわいらしいです。以前この木の前に外で開催されたアート展が設置されていたことがあります。少し前までは馬が２匹いたのですが、今はもういません。挨拶するのがとても楽しみだったのですが…寂しいです。
おっ、なにやら新しい物置が野原にあります。かわいらしいデザインです。セイタカアワダチソウとノラニンジンに囲まれて素敵ですね。
庭に古い西洋東屋があります。ここでお茶会が開かれるシーンが想像できます。私は和風の東屋が好きです。
ここは近所でいちばん好きな畑です。このお宅の畑の野菜はいつも元気そうですくすく育っています。おそらくご主人の土がいいのだと思います。
草がすでに黄金色に輝いています。夏の真っ最中にこの色合いを見るのが好きです。枯れ草の香りも甘くて土っぽくて好きです。一方で、なんだかすでに夏が終わって寒い冬がまたやってくるのだという想像がついてしまうので、少し寂しげな感情もわいてきます。
