Hello hive community, I would like to show you one of the tours that I took on my trip to one of the aridest places in the world, the Atacama desert, Chile. It is a wonderful place as if you were on another planet.
This tour was to the white geyser. It is not common for people to go there, but on the date I went, the virus was beginning to enter the country and the busiest geyser was not open to the public.
They pick us up early, like 5 am, which when we arrive is beginning to dawn, is when we see the greatest activity of the geysers and a beautiful view, that day we had a full moon, so happy.
You must go super warm because it is very cold there, especially so early in the morning. Arriving at the place we parked and they gave us tea/coffee and a loaf of bread with cheese, and with the energy to start a walk of about 15 minutes that for me was super pleasant. I loved the colors of the route and I also like that feeling of walking with an air different from what we are used to, a lot of egg smell haha, more and more noticeable as we get closer.
We didn't even realize it when we were arriving at the geysers!
the wind moved the gases in a very magical way, like waves on the mini hill where we were. Amazed and happy with the Pachamama that gives us so much.
After spending some time appreciating the beauty of the place, we had to return, because the walk continued!
The next place was some natural hot springs that one could get into. The water had a perfect temperature for me, I like the heat. If you had to be a little careful in some parts because the steam came out from under the stones and sometimes burned.
On the ground, you could see some insects like flies but swimming ... very strange, I don't know how they could with all that heat
That place is wonderful, pure relaxation and enjoyment. Too bad you can only spend a maximum of 15 minutes, to take care of our body and health.
The photo above is not very clear but it is because of all the steam there was.
After these two unforgettable places, we went back to San Pedro. Before we stopped a few minutes to see the geology of the place, where you can see how a river passed years ago. One of the places that make you feel small.
I approached to touch those little plants that seemed to be prodding ... and yes, they pricked haha.
I really appreciate the company on the tour. The one who took us, Klaus, was super cool and told us several interesting stories.
A place that I definitely recommend for those who want to be in another world. San Pedro de Atacama is a picturesque town full of wonderful places to visit, friendly people who like the good life.

hola comunidad hive, me gustaria mostrarles uno de los tour que tome en mi viaje a uno de los lugares mas aridos del mundo, el desierto de Atacama Chile. Es un lugar maravilloso, como si estuvieses en otro planeta.
Este recorrido fue al geiser blanco. No es comun que la gente vaya alli, pero en la fecha que fui el virus estaba comenzando a entrar al pais y el geiser mas concurrido no lo tenian abierto a publico.
Nos pasan a buscar temprano, tipo 5 am, cosa que cuando lleguemos este comenzando a amanecer, es cuando se ve la mayor actividad de los geiser y una hermosa vista, ese dia nos toco luna llena, asique feliz.
Debes ir super abrigado porque es muy helado alla, sobretodo tan temprano en la mañana. Llegando al lugar nos estacionamos y nos dieron te/cafe y un pancito con queso, y ya con la energia para comenzar una caminata de unos 15 minutos que para mi fue super placentera. Me encantaban los colores del recorrido y tambien me guusto esa sensación de estar caminando con un aire distinto a lo que acostumbramos, harto olor a huevo jajaj cada vez mas notorio al irnos acercando.
Ni nos dimos cuenta cuando ya estabamos llegando al geiser!
El viento movia los gases de una forma muy magica, como en olas por el mini cerro en el que estabamos. Maravillada y feliz con la Pachamamita que nos entrega tanto.
Despues de estar un tiempo apreciando la belleza del lugar, tuvimos que volver, porque el paseo seguia!
El siguiente lugar fueron unas termas naturales a las que uno se podia meter. El agua tenía una temperatura perfecta para mi, que me gusta el calor. Si habia que tener un poco de cuidado en algunas partes porque el vapor salia de abajo en las piedras y a veces quemaba.
En el suelo se podian ver unos insectos como moscas pero nadando... muy raro, nose como podían con todo ese calor
El lugar es una maravilla, puro relajo y disfrute. Lastima que solo se pueden estar unos 15 minutos maximo, pero es por cuidar de nuestra cuerpita y salud.
La foto de arriba no se ve muy clara pero es por todo el vapor que habia.
Ya despues de estos dos innolvidables lugares, nos fuimos de regreso a San Pedro. Antes nos detuvimos unos minutos a ver la geología del lugar, donde se puede apreciar como pasaba un río hace años atras.
Uno de los lugares que te hacen sentir pequeña.
Me acerque a tocar esas plantitas que tenian pinta de pinchar... y si, pinchaban jaja.
Agradesco mucho la compañia en el tour. Quien nos llevo, Klaus, era super buena onda y nos conto varias historias interesantes.
Un lugar que sin duda recomiendo para el que quiera estar en otro mundo. San Pedro de Atacama es un pueblito pintoresco y lleno de lugares maravilloso que visitar, gente amable que le gusta la buena vida.
