Empezamos a tratarla con una rehabilitadora física porque se complicó más el cuadro con la entrada de la COVID-19. Solo entraba en la casa la rehabilitadora. Asistí 5 veces y lo demás lo hacía por el teléfono, dándole orientaciones a la madre según las preguntas o dudas que me planteaba.

We began to treat her with a physical rehabilitator because the picture became more complicated with the entry of COVID-19. Only the physical therapist came into the house. I attended 5 times and the rest I did by phone, giving guidance to the mother according to the questions or doubts she asked me.
Nuestro primer objetivo fue fortalecer su cuerpo físicamente y lograr que nos mirara el rostro para poder desarrollar el lenguaje. Empezamos con sonidos silábicos y onomatopéyicos. Cuando logramos que nos mirara, en este caso a la mamá, el papá y la rehabilitadora decidí seguir con los sonidos, pero además le incorporé que mencionara todo por su nombre frente al espejo para comenzar a reconocerse y pequeñas oraciones todo esto. Prohibimos todo tipo de medios audiovisuales, aunque su mamá usaba la televisión para que ella pudiera comer por ser inapetente, cuyo método fue un error, pero se mantuvo.

A los 23 meses tenía un aumento del vocabulario con buena calidad, ya caminaba, y controlaba sus esfínteres, por lo que se decidió incorporarla al círculo infantil para que aprendiera a socializar y prestar atención. This was not accomplished in the way we wanted, but the parents' work had an effect, as the child continued to advance intellectually and physically. However, she continued to inappropriately use audiovisual media as a means to feed herself, which led to behavioral maladjustment and scattered attention.
Hoy en día, la niña es muy inteligente, pero con ligeros rasgos de autismo. Recomiendo a todos los padres que tengan niños con este tipo de trastorno que no utilicen los medios audiovisuales para estimularlos. Es mejor que hagan actividades para fomentar la concentración. Controle su conducta para que el niño logre socializar.
Today, the child is very intelligent, but with slight traits of autism. I recommend to all parents who have children with this type of disorder not to use audiovisual media to stimulate them.
