Lewis and Clark -- The Feeding Problem

Lewis and Clark Top.jpg
Our tiny pups have not always played nicely with each other. They often need to be broken up from a fight that has gotten a bit too intense. But these more intense fights are occurring less frequently as they are getting older, which is quite a relief!

Our almost 7 month old puppies, Lewis and Clark tugging and fighting over some of my husband's old socks. These are the perfect inexpensive teething toy--there are always plenty of "singles" in our laundry room to convert when the inevitable happens.

However, during the course of their fighting, they have knocked their food bowl over, which made a loud noise (think of a ceramic bowl being dragged or tosses across hard floors). This noise scared Lewis and Clark so much that they will refuse to eat out of their dish for about 3 or 4 days after a noise incident.

And this is the result--having to eating their kibble off the floor! It's just about the only way we can get them to eat, unless we hand feed them. and let's be real: I LOVE TO HAND FEED THESE BOYS!

Thank you for reading my blog!

What do you do when your dogs refuse to eat from their food bowl/dish?
