FUD in crypto space

FUD is being interpreted as fear, uncertainty and doubt. FUD can be used to influence the crypto market and is part of a competitor's strategy and I don't think all crypto projects are immune to FUD. Some people even do FUD about BTC.

Fear, uncertainty, and doubt generally refer to information that can make people pessimistic about the market. When investors talk about FUD, they are referring to rumors and hype spread by the media (and social media) that influence irrational investor decisions.

In crypto, FUD has become a well-known crypto term, and it means one of two things:

  1. Spreading skepticism about a particular token or project in an attempt to lower prices.

  2. General skepticism about crypto as an asset class, and any related news/events. Rumors of a potentially negative event can also create FUD.

Many projects can be attacked by FUD. And project progress is also affected by FUD. Some feeds will lead to abnormal results in the market and investors will be deceived.

All crypto traders know about FUD and I guess many people nowadays use FUD other projects as a marketing strategy.

When we talk about fear in the field of marketing, communication or advertising, we can be fooled into thinking that this kind of strategy doesn't work anymore. That the consumer is now much more intelligent, informed and aware to avoid the little tricks that involve these kinds of emotions in stressful moments and purchasing decisions. However, I'm sorry to tell you that no, when we encounter fear-based messages, we usually act subconsciously by activating our alert system.

**Stop the FUD, stop sharing unverified information about the crypto space.
**
Do you believe that FUD can be used to influence the crypto market or the perception of a project or do you believe that projects with strong foundations and communities are immune to FUD and usually overcome it? will do

Do you follow trends created by FUD, sell assets or stop investing because the FUD may have an element of truth or do you mostly ignore the FUD and limit your investment activities? Do as usual?

Given the large number of cases of fear, uncertainty and doubt in crypto, are these concerns justified or are they mostly manipulation or sponsored attacks?
