This weekend was fathersday..
The kids dad only took 2 kids out of the three and his reasoning was simply that he just didnt want to. How is that in any way fair at all? I spent all weekend trying to let Landon have a great time doing random things and all he kept asking was “why didnt my dad let me go to his house?” What was I supposed to say? He is 8. Your dad said no because he said he was busy, he said that he didnt have room in the car because between his 4 step kids he cant make room for his own 3. Like I can tell him the truth? Why defend someone for the sake of his feelings? I dont know what is worse, lying to him about it or telling him the truth. The truth will come out, as he gets older he will see what kind of a dad he really is. It is not fair that he chooses to be a father to 2 kids but not all of them. Landon said to me yesterday “ I'm going to miss fathers day , but I guess its okay because he didnt even say happy birthday for the last 3 times” that hurt, all of the comments he made about it hurt, I hurt for him but one day he'll realize everything that has happened or is happening and see it in a different perspective.
On top of all that, on Sunday I found out that when I go to PR , the place we were supposed to stay is no longer available because non the less.. My dad rented his whole house out except for one room on Air BnB. Which is great good for you but not only did he kick us out of the house we were not even in yet, my brother was already in the house and he made him leave and get a hotel too. Not going down the street so this only makes the trip worse than it was going to be. Currently no car and no place to stay.
Happy travels

What am I thinking? Unspeakable things
