I WOULD LOVE TO EXPERIENCE PANCHA GANAPATI | LADIES OF HIVE COMMUNITY CONTEST #60

😍Hey Dear Ladies of Hive, A Fabulous Holiday Greetings to you & yours from North-East Nigeria💐

My name is Starr and this here is my first time joining this lovely community, thanks to an invite from my sweet friend @ruchial 💝

When I read this week's question, I got excited and thought to respond right away as the holiday season is one of my favorite time of the year, Musician ANDY WILLIAMS rightly puts it so in his song,
🎵🎶 It's the most wonderful time of the year🎶
🎶With the kids jingle belling & everyone telling you be of good cheer🎶
🎶It's the most wonderful time of the year🎶🎵

Unfortunately, I have never had the chance to attend a festival of a different faith or culture, so this topic piqued my curiosity, especially because I needed to do some study on the one I would like to experience and that's gratitude to @ladiesofhive @thekittygirl for this awesome initiative.

My desire to experience a Pancha Ganapati celebration stems mostly from the fact that we get to celebrate with our loved ones. a festivity full of colors, food, and lots of fun for kids & adult alike. I also live a stone throw from a Hindi family and have always been fascinated with the hindi customs and traditions which so far only gotten a glimpse from their movies (😍I'm a huge fan of Bollywood movies from childhood and have made attempts to learn their language😂).

From the little I've studied about this holiday, Pancha Ganapati is a five-day Hindu celebration held from December 21 to 25 in honor of Lord Ganesha.
During this event, each family constructs a shrine in their main living room, complete with a statue of Lord Ganesha. Pine boughs, banana leaves, palm fronds, tinsel, and lights can be used to adorn the shrine. This festival, like many other cultures' festivals around this time of year, is a time to make amends and focus on fresh beginnings.

The entire family does a unique spiritual discipline called sadhana on each of the five days of Pancha Ganapati. The youngsters dress Ganesha in a new color every morning:

On Day One, Golden yellow - The hue for Pancha Ganapati's first day provides a vibe of love and harmony among close family members.

On Day Two, Royal Blue - Day is dedicated to instilling a sense of love and peace among neighbors, family, and close friends, as well as showering them with emotional presents. The sadhana for today is to apologize and clear up any misconceptions that may have arisen.

On Day Three, Ruby Red sends out love and harmony vibration to the general public.

On Day four, Emerald Green attracts the vibration of pleasure and harmony emitted by music, art, theater, and dance. Each family reveals their creative abilities and ambitions to include more cultural elements into their house.

On the fifth day, a vivid orange hue represents the outpouring of love via generosity and spiritual practice, as well as the peace that Lord Ganesha bestows upon the family.

In addition to decorating Lord Ganesha’s shrine with tinsel and lights, on December 25th, the fifth day of Pancha Ganapati, children open gifts and family members exchange greeting cards,

Pancha Ganapati appears to be a joyful holiday, comparable to Christmas. It’s so interesting to see the similarities between our faith and culture, so it's a holiday I would definitely want to experience. Wishing Everyone Celebrating Pancha Ganapati a Joyous Celebration!😊
