I've been wanting to test Lux Vega again but wasn't able to because I've been abusing Lorkus. But since there's a lack of Lorkus rental in the market place, I realized this is the best time to test my strategies with this new summoner.
In this battle, since Super Sneak rule of combat would only affect melee monsters, I made a team to especially target melee monsters. If they are to try and abuse the said rule of combat, they would be surprised with a treat that they'd never expect.

Recently, Lux Vega's price jumped along with other summoners. You can buy a max level of her for $163.98. This may look expensive but she's actually very efficient in my opinion.

Right now, there's a crisis in Splinterlands' rental market. I don't know if it's the land or it's just many players are playing right now but almost all the strong summoners are not being rented right now. As you can see, you have no choice if you want to play Lux Vega as the only card available for rental is 89.97 DEC per day. The good thing is that this price is quite cheap as I've tried renting recently and will cost you almost 250 DEC per day to rent something like a max level Lorkus.

I usually don't use Cruel Sethropod a lot so I think buying a normal one is inefficient. Therefore, I suggest even a lower level since it's really inexpensive right now. A gold Cruel Sethropod costs $0.17.

Since the price is cheap, the rental is also cheap. You can rent a Cruel Sethropod for as low as 0.10 DEC per day for the lowest level or 1.23 DEC per day for a level 7 if you want.
πͺ Stats | Lux Vega
Lux Vega is a Legendary summoner from the Chaos Legion Series.
Level 4 Legendary summoners allow the use of:
Level 4 Legendary monsters;
Level 6 Epic monsters;
Level 8 Rare monsters;
Level 10 Common monsters.
The reason Lux Vega was very efficient because with Lux Vega, you can use her in every battle except on some that is limited by rules of combat. However, a max level Lux Vega means you can use all monsters from all splinters except Dragon Splinter. You can use max level as well which is very nice if you have high level monsters.
+1 Armor. [Stat Modifier] [Positive Status] All friendly monsters has their Max Health reduced by 1, with a minimum of 1. Monsters with 1 Max Health before the effect applies are unaffected.
One of the most powerful stats ability in the game. An extra armor to a non-armored monster means a whole life. If a melee or range monster with 5 damage attacks a monster with 1 armor and 1 health, that melee or range monster needs to attack the 1-1 monster twice to kill it, one attack to remove the armor and 1 attack to reduce the health to 0.
+1 Health. [Stat Modifier] Positive Status] All friendly monsters has their Max Health increased by 1.
The goal of the game is to reduce all of your opponent's health to 0. Therefore, the higher health your monsters have, the higher the chance to achieve your goal.
+1 Speed. [Stat Modifier] [Positive Status] All friendly monsters has their Speed increased by 1.
To me, speed is only useful if it's a team focused on speed like a build focusing on Coeurl Lurker. Other than that, it's a nice bonus but not something to be too excited at.
πͺ Stats | Cruel Sethropod
Since Cruel Sethropod doesn't have any abilities, his stats are higher than others. Cruel Sethropod is a defensive monster with both high armor and health for a 3 mana cost monster.
This card has no abilities. Monsters with no abilities has increased stats to compensate for the lack of abilities.

22 Mana Cap. Total mana cost of all monsters must not exceed 22 mana.
Broken Arrows Rules of Combat Tips: Use these type of rule of combat to your advantage. Since you know that your opponent would only be able to use melee or magic damage, you have 50% chance of targetting them by using anti magic damage or anti melee damage abilities.
Super Sneak Rules of Combat Tips: Although there are monsters with Range damage or Magic Damage that can use Sneak ability, Super Sneak rule of combat only grants Sneak ability to melee monsters. Any monsters that uses range or magic damage will still attack as normal and won't change their targetting priority.
π Abilities Used During This Battle π

Round 3

Round 4
- Venari Wavesmith's attack killed Cruel Sethropod.

Lux Vega: A better version of Kelya Frendul. Not only she can do everything Kelya Frendul can, but also gives an extra 1 max health to all of your monsters.
- Xenith Monk: Even though the game would be focused on melee monsters, I find it wasteful to have someone with Heal ability to not be placed on a location where he wouldn't be damaged. Thus, I have Xenith Monk on the 1st position as my main tank.
- Cruel Sethropod: Decent health, armor and damage for a 3 mana cost monster. Since he has melee damage, he can also abuse the Super Sneak rule of combat.
- Venari Wavesmith: Since I know that the game would be focused on melee monsters, I wanted to add someone who can provide extra armor for the team.
- Spirit Hoarder: I want someone to heal my back row since I will be attacked on both side. Spirit Hoarder's Triage ability fits exactly what I needed while also having the Blind ability to increase the chance that my opponent's attack may miss.
- Hardy Stonefish: I have extra mana so I added some monster for the filler.
- Chaos Agent: Another filler monster. He's cheap to rent so I got a max level one for this battle.

Yes. The extra armor saved me a lot for this game. My monsters also exceeded my expectation. I wasn't even able to use Cruel Sethropod as my backup tank due to my team's restoration abilities. This makes it a big success.
πΉ α―αΌα©T α―Iαͺαͺ YOα TαY αͺIα΄α΄EαEαTαͺY αEαT TIα°E? πΉ
None. I think this team is very balanced. I can maybe change a few like Cruel Sethropod or adding one 0 mana cost monster and 2 mana cost monster instead of two 1 mana cost monsters but I don't think that was needed in this battle.
πΈ π«π πππ ππππ Lux Vega and Cruel Sethropod in Super Sneak Rules of Combat? πΎππ ππ πΎππ πππ? πΈ
Yes. Lux Vega's extra armor directly counters melee which makes her a good summoner for this. Cruel Sethropod is very efficient also with his high armor making him very efficient in Super Sneak rule of combat. While I wasn't able to show his true ability, Cruel Sethropod is quite good in my opinion and can be used as a main tank if you can get him to higher levels.
