Hello 3D printing community

Two weeks ago, I was with a friend and one thing leading to another, I offer me to borrow his 3d printer.
The guy bought a new one and was not using its ender 3 anymore.

So here I was, with a 3d printer, … and I loved it. That’s why I decided to buy my own 3d printer.

There is a few things, I didn’t liked about the ender 3, and I wanted a printer without those issues.

I want something easy to mount, that’s my first 3d printer and I’m afraid to make some mistakes and also I don’t really want to spend 5 hours for that.

Manual bed levelling is really annoying! I want something automatic. I know there are some solutions for that like the BL touch, but that’s extra money and extra setup/configuration time.

The ender 3 build surface is nice, but I have seen some magnetic ones that’s seems to be better.

With all of that in mind, here are a few 3d printers I considered:

  • Dagoma Neva
  • Anycubic Vyper
  • Prusa Mini

So here is my new 3d printer, the anycubic vyper

I received it on saturday, early in the morning and I’ve been printing everyday since.

Here are a few prints I made so far:

The test impression on the SD card

A little box for SD cards, all in one print with the closing lid

and a few other prints for the 3d printer itself.

I love this machine.

The community around it is maybe not as big as the ender one but it’s a fun, easy to use printer and I never failed a print yet (it was not the case with the ender 3).

There is also some stuffs I need to try/understand:

  • printing new materials, I've only used PLA for now
  • printing stuffs with support
  • try the vase mode
