Question of the week: What should we eat to be healthy and vibrant?

Food is vitally important in maintaining healthy and vibrant balanced health. It is for this reason that there is a saying that says: "we are what we eat" and it is certainly so when we take care of our health we also take care of the food we eat. However, humanity has been using and modifying its environment to live and currently this way of eating healthy has also changed because people have changed the way of eating of our ancestors for junk food

For me, food is very important since our health will depend on what we eat. I am a lover of healthy foods, although I try to balance my family's diet, including all food groups.

I particularly live in a rural environment where we are used to eating vegetables, fruits and fish, although we also consume chicken and meat, eggs, cheese but less regularly.

Near my house I regularly visit a seller of fruits, vegetables and vegetables because I regularly consume it. there I find what my body really needs to consume

In the same way I visit the fish sale weekly because at home we consume fish of different types and in different ways, we eat it in soups, roasted, stewed with vegetables and greens

I usually plant several seeds of tomatoes, peppers, paprika in a jar and then transplant them to the ground, which we consider to be healthier to season our meals.

Food is very important, it is for this reason that the nutrients we obtain from food are very important to carry out our vital functions and if it is true that we need food from all groups and we must do it in a balanced way

Today, for example, my lunch was made with grilled fish,tubers , bananas vegetables, which I consider one of my favorites.

Since I was a little girl I have liked to eat vegetables a lot, although I confess that we consume meat and chicken at home, cheese, eggs, cereals, milk....in a moderate and balanced way and we always do it in a rational way to guarantee the right nutrients according to age and need of each person

We must remember that a child's diet is very different from that of an adult, since children must consume all the nutrients necessary for their development and obviously they must consume foods from all groups, while adults must select healthier foods that include more vegetables. and fruits

In this sense, it is important to highlight that to maintain good and vibrant health we must eat in a balanced way as I indicated above and avoid foods loaded with fats and sugars, as well as canned or bottled soft drinks. We must create awareness in our children and in humanity that junk food and current soft drinks deteriorate people's health, therefore we must be aware that eating healthy, consuming plenty of fruit and drinking natural soft drinks preserves health and gives us more energy. that our immune system is highlighted and thus we can be strong with defenses against viruses and infections
