Every adverse event in the world changes the rules and living conditions.
Let's remember Corona! Suddenly, it turned the rules upside down by confining people to their homes and forcing them to wear masks over their faces.
The war has made the necessity of leaving the cities, streets and most importantly the homes where people were born and raised a necessity rather than an option.
Ever-increasing prices make it necessary to save money and change one's life accordingly. Savings, which start with travelling and clothing, also affect what is put on the dinner table.
The importance of what the rules are loses its meaning after a certain point and dictates new rules to those who want to live.
In an ice-covered world, the priority is to keep warm and then find food to survive. Food is put on the back burner because of the cold and ice-covered world.
Or, in a world of extreme heat, the priority is to provide a favourable environment in order to cool down, keep the body temperature normal and breathe freely. Finding food to live is also a secondary priority.
In a normal world, on the other hand, meeting the need for shelter and food is the primary rule. Since everything is normal, the fulfilment of needs is determined only by options and personal priorities.
These and similar situations show that the rules are created by the conditions depending on the needs that arise spontaneously instead of us. We, too, obey the rules determined in accordance with the conditions.
When necessary, all freedoms can be shelved even by those who claim to be the most liberal. The independence of the judiciary can be violated and freedom of opinion can be replaced by attacks on the other side... And all this is done within the new rules created by the circumstances. Or they do it by quoting parts of the old rules that will provide justifiable conclusions.
OK, the world is not frozen and there is no unlivable temperature for now! But with the internet, lives and rules are changing. When we are in the comfort of our bedroom, we can produce effective words and sentences on a life, and we do not think about how the sentences we utter damage the other life. We set the conditions and rules as we please.
We see limited criticism towards a point as criticism towards the whole and we exclude the person. We are more interested in spoiling rather than building. No living creature grows easily. Time progresses and lives change. Everything that changes brings with it new rules.
