The month of Dec for me was all about socializing. I had 5 weddings to attend in December and then Xmas and New Year celebrations. 2024 is a leap year and in my tradition we refrain from getting married in the leap year. Honestly I do not know what is the logic behind it. So because of this belief there were many weddings in December. I was feeling tired and last night I was actually feeling like just being at home and sleeping, but then my friends did not allow me to do that and I had to join them for a house party and we had loads of fun.
Today is going to be a sober day at home with just me and hubby and later in the day I will go to the Temple. It is my ritual to visit the temple once a week, which is ideally over the weekend. This week I planned to do it on 1st to start the New Year with good vibes and energy.
Coming to my Hive achievements for the month of Dec and for the whole year of 2023. I had set a target of achieving 50K Hive by end of the year. This target I achieved by October end so the 2 months earnings are now a bonus for me.
On 1st Jan 2023, my opening balance was 37600, and as of 31st Dec 2023 it is 52400, which gives me an annual earning of 14800 Hive. From this not all of it comes from blogging rewards. I have added some from my own pocket, which is around 3K hive, and that's why you can see that the earning is high. Whatever it is my Hive balance looks good for now. Today I have powered up my account with 360 Hive.
For 2023 I have put in lots and lots of my energy on Hive because I wanted to see my account grow and besides that I also wanted to achieve other goals like powering up my account all the 12 months without fail, and making a post all 365 days of the year. I have been able to achieve all of them.
But for 2024 now I will like to go a little slow and it will not be the same as 2023. In the month of April, I will be away for my trek and those days for sure I will be completely cut off so making a post 365 days of the year is not possible for me in 2024.
Along with Hive, I also achieved my Leo target of reaching to 2k, which as of today is 2200 Leo. I know it's a very small amount but it still matters to me.
Today morning I was showing my full Hive report to my hubby and he gave a pat on my back saying that I have done a very good job. I too feel proud of myself for my achievements. As I mentioned 2024 will not be the same but at the same time it's not going to be any less either. I will work hard as much as I can.
