Do you think it is okay for parents to influence the decisions of their children? |
---|
Most people do not always think that it is right for parents to try and influence the decisions of their childrens but the truth is that for me I sincerely think that it is normal for parents to influence their childrens decisions.
And when we say influence we mean giving out opinions and making suggestions not trying to make decisions on behalf of their childrens, it is an entirely different thing so please don't misinterpret.
During the time of marriage or when deciding a course to study in school, what is the place of parents in giving their children guidance? |
---|
It is a fact that no parents would want their children to make mistakes in their decision and in life in general, so when it comes to marriage especially the moms it is normal for them to sit their children down and ensure that's exactly what their child really wants.
So that they won't rush into something that will call for a regret in the later days of life and same is applicable even in the choice of studies in school the parents needs to intervene to make sure that their children are certain of their choices.
Can a parent actually misguide their children in decision making? |
---|
Yes absolutely some greedy parents usually wants to mislead their children into agreeing into something that they do not really one to be a part of.
For example parents might want to force their girl child into marriage simply because the guy's family or the guy as a whole is very rich meanwhile their child isn't in love with the guy.
Do you have any experience of your parents enforcing decisions for you against your will |
---|
Nope my parents have never for once try to enforce their decision on my behalf not even for once, my parents always respect my decision unless I made a bad decision only then will they try to make me repent from it.
But there's one of my colleague I had in school back then when I was in the university, his parents were the ones controlling his life when it comes to decision making and everything.
