I had been hearing about this sushi place quite a few times. My cousin who also loves food and lives in Chiang Mai told me that it's just open a branch in Bangkok and it's so popular all of sudden! When I passed by it again, just curious and would love to check it out so here we go, Sushiro!
It's actually a chain restaurant with more than 600+ branches around the globe. Heard it's quite popular in Japan but not sure how accurate that is.
In my personal opinion, I think what makes it interesting and fun to dine here is that it is a belt sushi specialty store so food pass you all the time and you just pick whatever you'd like. Then the bill will be calculated at the end of the meal by them counting the plates by color. Each color has its own price depending what's the menu on the plate. The gold plate seems to be the most expensive one.
Free unlimited green tea as well! This is quite cool since you can spoon just the amount you like of the green tea and there's a hot water tap on all tables for you to fill. Totally one of my favorite gimmick of the place!
I love that we can pick such a variety of food all in one meal. It's fun also to always have food passing by and we just grab whatever we feel like. We had too much fun picking and grabbing food that there's almost too much food!
Sushi of course, since the restaurant called 'Sushiro'!, We grabbed load tons of those. Tuna, Salmon, Burned cheese, salmon roes, and much more. I quite like their sushi. It got just the perfect taste for rice. Not too salty, sour or bland. The toppings really depend, I like some and I don't like some but still, I can feel that the ingredients they use are real fresh!
Udon! Love all kinds of noodle and udon is totally one of my top favorite list of all time! How soft and chewy at the same time. Here at Sushiro, they make the noodle just the perfect texture. The soup also tastes great! Just the right size of bowl so that we can enjoy other things on the belt as well.
All in all, I like the plate. The food is good, the price is great. Next time we just need to control ourselves a bit and not grab all the things we see that looks good. We almost couldn't finish the food since we had too much fun picking out #lol The whole meal cost about 600+ THB for 2 people so I think that's pretty good for the quality.
We have this at Future Park Rangsit shopping mall and I'm pretty sure they have a few other ones in Bangkok and throughout Thailand as well. Give it a try if you fancy some sushi.. ro!
