Wanted to go out of the city for a bit so I messaged and asked a friend who live in Mae Rim, a town 30 mins drive from the city. He recommended Sala Cafe and there I went. Sala means a pavillion, cafe in Thai is pretty much coffee. This is exactly just that, coffee in an antigue pavillion somewhere in the nature in Maerim, Chiang Mai.

We walked in greeted by an old school phone booth. Then walked through a metal arch, before a giant swing and lastly that old school pavillion from the name of the place. Real chill. Real interesting. At some point, you would even walk pass the mist walk path and it was beautiful!

They have a few areas for a few different age ranges. They even got a playground for kids! Totally an awesome place for family.

Love how green it is but I wish it was a bit brighter in side the place. The food and drinks are all in house made. Coffee was good. The prices are reasonable. Totally visit ศาลากาแฟ Sala Cafe if you ever visit Maerim, Chiang Mai.
