Fragrant braised pork. Have you ever tried it?

Hello, cooking community. I am wishing you a day full of energy. Today I bring you a new dish. It is a dish cooked with pork and pineapple. This dish will taste better if you eat it with rice and soup. The ingredients and the method are straightforward, but the result will surprise you with its deliciousness.

Ingredient:

  • Pork belly 300-500gr
  • Pineapple 1/2 fruit
  • Main seasoning: fish sauce, salt, sugar, cooking oil, garlic, and red onion.

Making:

Step 1: You need to make sure the pork is pork belly or tender pork. You should wash it with diluted salt water, to ensure the meat is fresh and delicious, you should wash it thoroughly 2-3 times. Then blanch in boiling water again for 3 minutes, when the meat is just pale, take it out, but don't forget to add to the pot of boiling water a few slices of ginger and crushed purple onion.

Step 2: Cut the meat into small pieces and smash the garlic, and red onion, mince it, then fry it in the pan and stir the meat for 3-5 minutes so that the meat is deodorized and more delicious. Adding flavour to the dish is more flavorful, this is necessary, and should not be ignored.

Step 3: For pineapples, cut off the skin and just cut the inner flesh into small pieces and put them on the pan to stir with cooking oil to make them more delicious.

Step 4: Next, add both pineapple and pork and stir-fry together for 3 minutes, then transfer to a plate and proceed to caramelize the dish for a more traditional and beautiful brown colour.

Step 5: How to make caramel is very easy: Just add 3 tablespoons of sugar to a hot pan, then add 20ml of filtered water and wait for them to boil and turn brown. At this point, quickly add the meat to the pot and stir well to make sure all is golden brown. This process happens very quickly, so you should always be around and watch over them, or they will be damaged.

Step 6: Add 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt, 4 tablespoons of fish sauce and 50ml of water and cook them on low heat. And cook like that for 5-8 minutes until the water of the dish is thickened. Be careful not to let the water dry completely.

Step 7: Finally, put the food on a plate and enjoy with rice. Because this dish has a mild salty and sweet taste of pineapple, do not eat them alone, but combine them with rice and soup.
