Baked Puto Cheese for my 10th year💞

Hello and howdy food lovers all over the world. It's good to be back again on track. Lately, I've been so busy and it's the opening of classes again and I made adjustments to my new set of students. Gladly, I made it and now I'm writing back again.

Teaching is never that easy but I am grateful that I made it and it gives me satisfaction when I teach young students. I am beyond blessed that this year I made it to my 10th year in teaching. To give thanks, I plan to bake a Puto cheese to share with my school family, friends, and colleagues.

Here is the full recipe for my baked Puto cheese:

Ingredients needed:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1 cup warm water
2 Large eggs
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/4 tsp. Vanilla Extract
slice Eden cheese
Food color or flavoring (optional)

Steps in making Baked Puto Cheese

🧁Prepare all the needed ingredients for easy access. And to avoid missing any ingredients.

🧁Sift the flour and sugar to avoid lumps.

🧁In a bowl measure 2 cups of all-purpose flour and 1 1/4 cup of sugar. Combine thoroughly.

🧁Next, add 1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. of salt to the dry ingredients. Combine all the dry ingredients to perfect the mixture.

🧁In a separate bowl, prepare all the liquid ingredients. Prepare 3/4 cups of evaporated milk (any brand of your choice). Mine, I used angel evaporated milk.

🧁Next, measure 1 cup of water and mix it into the evaporated milk. Combine thoroughly using the wire whisk.

🧁After combining the evaporated milk and water, add the 2 tbsp. melted butter into the mixture.

🧁In a separate bowl, prepare the 2 large eggs. I intentionally separate the eggs to check if it is fresh or not.

🧁Lastly, mix all the dry and liquid ingredients. Add the vanilla extract. If you wish to have it colorful, you can use food color and flavoring.

🧁Continuously mix until the liquid and dry ingredients are mixed.

🧁Now prepare the molding pan for your Puto cheese. While putting mixtures into the pan, preheat the oven to 150°C for about 15 mins.

🧁After placing your mixtures in your pan, place your pan inside the oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean with no more sticky mixtures.

🧁If you see your mixture is almost cooked, put the slice of Eden Cheese then continuously cook for about 1 to 2 minutes.

Seeing my baked Puto cheese makes my heart flutter. This is my first time trying to bake Puto Cheese instead of steaming. And I love the result!

If you love what you are doing then the result will probably be great. But if you do not love what you are doing then you will not become successful in your endeavor.

Baking this Puto Cheese as a gift for my 10th year in teaching is another milestone. This might be ordinary to others but for me, I consider this as a celebration. Not all are given this chance.

Have a great day everyone!

That's all for today my dear Hive friends. Hopefully, you learn something from my blog. Keep safe. See you on my next blog.😊
