Hi foodie bee hivers here, it's really been a while since I last posted here in our community. Let me share you how we simply celebrate our youngest's birthday.
Birthday is a special day in every child's life, it is an exciting event for them. Honestly, we are in a tight budget since a month ago but we managed to spare some for her birthday. This celebration is to actually celebrate her wellness because she always get sick a few days before her birthday in previous years.
We did a low cost photoshoot for her the night before her birthday, I'm so glad that she's in the mood. This cake is actually made on this very day that's why I can really feel the tiredness of my arms but I guess it's all worth it. Now I fulfilled her requested theme cake, pineapple and watermelon.
And their she is with her supportive Big sister.
On her birthday we brought this 1 tier small cake for her classmates, she said that she to share it with them. Her teacher said that she must be the one to cut the cake before her classmates can get a slice since she is the celebrant. This is her first time cutting a cake. They ate it together with some spaghetti and burgers.
Her classmates gifted some chocolates, stuffed toy and bubbles. I'm so thankful that she's growing up as a grateful young girl, no matter how small a gift or just a greeting she's so happy with it. She's naughty some times but she's a cheerful, sweet and really appreciative of the little acts of kindness around her. No efforts are left unnoticed, even the little things.
Our family photo on her birthday while waiting for our pizza.
Fracasso's Special and Cheesy Burger in one big pizza, this is our family's favorite.
Most requested in all birthdays, SPAGHETTI! Some families are cooking pancit or any noodles to wish the celebrant longevity.
Chicken Hamonado by your truly, it is live a sweet chicken stew. The main ingredients are chicken, pineapple juice and crushed pineapple. The final result will be the balance combined taste of savory and sweet, and tender chicken meat.
Of course, the ice cream! Who doesn't want one? She choses this ube cheese flavor by a famous local brand "Dan Eric's Ice Cream". This is really creamy and not too sweet. The kids really love ice cream but they eat in moderation to avoid upset stomach.
Since the cough and fever is going viral these days we celebrated at home together our close relatives only. It is safer this way.
