Oatmeal with fruit | Healthy breakfast 🌾

Friends, hello everyone, today we have another healthy and delicious recipe. I try to eat a varied and balanced diet, especially breakfast. For me, breakfast is a special ritual and it is breakfast that determines how my day goes. And although oatmeal is a useful product in a healthy diet, but still do not abuse it. I eat oatmeal maximum 3 times a week and every time I try to think of something new and special. For example, today I wanted a really summery oatmeal, so I added a lot of different fruits. I encourage you to whip up this recipe. Let's get started!

First, I'll tell you what we'll need to make a delicious oatmeal for breakfast (ingredients are listed for 2 servings):

  • 140 g. oat flakes
  • 1 fig
  • milk + water (no exact proportion)
  • 1/2 peach
  • 20 g. honey
  • 25 g cashews
  • 2 pears
  • 10 g coconut flakes
  • 4 g. cinnamon
  • 20 g butter

STEP 1

Rinse the pear thoroughly under cool water. Peel the pear from the peel and core. Dice the pear.

STEP 2

Heat a pan and add butter. Without waiting for the butter to melt completely, add the diced pears. Stew the pear on medium heat for 3-4 minutes.

STEP 3

Next, add honey and cinnamon to the pears. I really love the combination of these flavors! Leave on the heat for another 3 minutes.

STEP 4

The pears should slightly change color to yellowish. And the fragrance in the kitchen should be unbelievably delicious!

STEP 5

Rinse the ripe peach thoroughly under cool water. We will only need half of the peach. If you have small peaches, take one whole. Cut the peach into cubes.

STEP 6

Add the peaches to the pears to the pan and mix well. Leave on the low heat for 5 minutes. The fruit should soak in the honey and butter and become softer.

STEP 7

At the same time, take another pan. This is where we will cook the oatmeal. I first heat the pan and put out the oats. This way it will give a richer flavor when cooked. Leave the flakes in the hot pan for 3 minutes. Don't forget to stir.

STEP 8

Now you can add milk and water (1:1) to the oats. Leave the contents of the pan for 5-7 minutes. Stir if needed.

STEP 9

During this time our fruit has already cooked. You can remove them from the heat and start serving. Chop the cashews with a knife and slice the figs as you like.

**STEP 10 **

Oatmeal is ready! Place the oatmeal on a plate, then the fruit, and sprinkle the nuts and coconut shavings on top. If you don't think the dish is too sweet, drizzle extra honey on top (or use any other sweetener).

Friends, that's all for now! Preparing breakfast took me 15 minutes, and I got energy for the whole day ahead! I think it's very important to start your day right and delicious! Save the recipe and try to create in your kitchens! I'd love to read your comments below this post. Wishing everyone ripe peaches and good cheer. See you soon, friends!
